Thai Body Works

Went back to get a much needed Thai massage. Highly recommend Karah!!! She was amazing and really focused on areas that needed it. Have had such a great experience with Thai Massage. Don’t know why I would try anywhere else! Great prices and wonderful service!

This was my first time for a massage here and it was very good! Erica was my massage therapist, and when I asked for a strong massage, she did not disappoint!
The combination of Swedish and Thai methods was enjoyable, and I had a perfect balance of deep tissue and stretching over the hour-​long session.
I will definitely be back, and go for 90 minutes next time!

The BEST! I have had several Thai massages all over, including in Thailand and Thai Body Works does it right. Very relaxing environment, friendly staff, and most importantly the massage is spot on and always consistent. You will get the same experience every time, no matter who does your massage. I have been to the San Clemente and the Dana Point location about a dozen times. I love the stretching and the head to toe massage. If you have never had a Thai massage, you are missing out. This place is a must try.

Scheduled a massage date with my boyfriend for the first time at Thai Body Works and this is how it went:
1. Service 5*
Got an appointment right away and there is a small parking lot next to the place. We were greeted by two very nice ladies, Erica and Anna. They told us that if we check in on Unilocal,we would get a discount for our 90 min. massage. check, check!
2. Environment 5*
The place is adorn with charming Thai art and tapestry. We got a private room with two beds close to each other on the floor and two bars above.
3. Massage 4.5*
Great combination of massage and stretching. Erica did an amazing job working on my problem areas– neck and shoulders. I was so relaxed that I know the difference when Erica walked on my back.
The stretching was a very nice touch. I think I am somewhat flexible because I’m able to touch my toes with little effort but Erica proved that I was a stiff as a mummy. She was gentle but persistent and would hold a position before moving forth with the stretch– which gave me some time to remember to breathe.
At the end of our sessions, we were given water, tea and some slices of pineapple. The only thing that could have made this session even better is to have another 90mins. So, we decided to donate to the massage god and put money in a jar to save for our next appointment at Thai Body Works!

You got to try this place! If you have knots on top of Knots Tara will break them down. The 90 minutes is worth it.

I’ll definitely be back! I called in as was able to book an appt for 30 minutes later. I was a little unsure of the place when I showed up (very dark inside and the rooms is super small with a little mattress on the floor and bars on the ceiling. but hey, it’s a thai massage!), but AHHHHHHH it was SUCH an amazing massage! She did some serious work on my problem areas. I didn’t have to say anything the whole massage. Very intuitive with my body and somehow knew exactly where and when to apply more/​less pressure. Very excited for my next visit.

Excellent 90 min Thai massage with a Swedish influence! I’ve had Thai massage and Swedish massage, but never both combined. It was a great experience and Yolanda was a wonderful therapist. She paid attention to my shoulder injuries and kept asking to make sure the pressure was not too much. Happy to return when I visit San Clemente again! The only comment I have is that you can hear people in the hallway during your massage which occasionally interrupts the zen and there is little privacy when the doors to the massage room are opened (albeit for a very brief moment) for the therapist to leave/​enter. I would suggest putting up a little curtain behind the door so there can be no peeking.

I love coming here! Best massage ever! They really customize the massage to what your body needs. They get every kink out too.

I have never had a thai/​swedish fusion massage. I cannot believe what I’ve been missing! The stretching, pressure spots and massaging… Its amazing!!! A bit of an aggressive massage but so worth it. I went with an extremely sore neck and shoulder which had been pinched for a week or more and Yolanda (massage therapist) completely loosened it right up. I’m gonna try and be a regular customer. The pricing is more than reasonable. I feel great. Relaxed and pain free!

Very professional, very relaxing, and it is worth the price. Had an hour Thai massage and all my knots were massaged out of my back. The stretching was great too. If you are stressed or have some aches and pains than go here. They are all nice and respectful. Went here after seeing my chiropractor and my back feels great.

I have been a customer of Thai Body Works for several years. I surf and run on a regular basis, so I’m usually very tight just about everywhere. I usually see Yolanda 2 – 3 times per month. She does an incredible job of deep tissue massage and does a lot of stretch work with me. I highly recommend them and especially Yolanda!

This place was really great. I’ve never had a full massage before, but my back has been hurting a lot. I came in for a Thai massage, and the masseuse (Karah) massaged my whole body and focused on my back. She massaged and reset my neck, shoulders, and back! Highly recommended.

I’ve been coming here for years. I haven’t told my friends about it because it’s my relaxing quiet place. I’m not ashamed to admit that’s I’ve gotten an hour massage on a Friday night and then gone back the next morning for a foot massage. I got to a point where I decided my money was better spent there than at a local bar. Needless to say I’ve filled a few punch cards. This place is well worth it! They aren’t even in the same category as the other massage places in town. Get the lemongrass tea after your massage.

OMG! This little girl who couldn’t have weighed more than 98lbs had the hands of the hulk. Erica removed more marbles out of my shoulders than I realized I had and then put me into positions that I was surprised I could do (nothing funky went on) and after this hour of heaven thanks to my baby boy @JesseMatheny I say bring on the work week!

After one session I quit my regular person, and started coming to this place. It is the best! My husband and I visit the place for the couples massage twice a month for an hour and a half, because the hour massage just went to fast, an hour and a half is great! In fact we are on our way now.

My shoulders and neck felt the same way going into the massage as going out. I specified I wanted that area worked on but she just did a short time on them. The place was very clean and the staff were very nice. The massage was ok but I would not go back again.

Fantastic massage. It is worth your time. They use a combo of Swedish, Deep tissue, and Thai massage. All the therapists are good with slightly different styles. My favorite is June because she can dig in and does a great job stretching me. Great décor and ambiance. A lot of attention to detail with Thai artifacts and artwork. The place is very clean.
The best thing about Thai people working here in the U.S. is that they are very appreciative of the opportunity they have. You can depend on them putting their best effort for you.
