The Tangled Vine

Bonnie did the flowers for my wedding last weekend (4^th of July) at the loft on pine and they were beautiful. I showed her inspiration pics off Pinterest and the bouquet was EXACTLY what I wanted. I wish I could’ve kept it forever. The burlap wrap was perfect too and the groomsmen boutonnières were great. A few things I asked to add to the order were a little pricey so I sourced those myself (vase rentals, leis) but overall it was an great value for the excellent flowers and service. Even the moss basket for the flower girl was perfect. She was always great at getting back to my questions and last minute changes as well, including last minute flowers for the grand exit. Highly recommend!

My fiancé and I worked with Bonnie from the Tangled Vine for our October 2014 wedding. She was incredibly easy to work with and accommodating for our requests. Bonnie assured us she would work within our budget, while still maintaining the vision we had for our flowers. And she did deliver on those fronts! She helped me a lot in listening to my vision but filling in the blanks with her suggestions on details and flower options. I never had any issues communicating with Bonnie and she was very responsive via email. Bonnie was very creative and even sent us texts of pictures while she was putting our centerpieces together! We wanted to keep the centerpieces rather than renting out the boxes Bonnie was going to use for them, so Bonnie provided me with the vendors who sold those boxes. The flowers were probably one of the top two compliments we received from our wedding, including from my sometimes picky mother. She was a bit skeptical of our flower vision for the wedding. We received many compliments on using succulents, including the groomsmen boutonnieres that also had a golf tee attached (husband is a golfer). People were literally scrambling to take the centerpieces home at the end of the evening. Everyone wanted one! The centerpieces looked like mini gardens with the assortment of flowers, succulents and shades of purple. I loved how my bouquet looked and I also received many compliments on the style Bonnie created. Without any hesitation, I would recommend Bonnie to any engaged couples!

Bonnie was such an amazing person to work with! We got married on August 30, 2014 at the El Adobe in San Juan Capistrano and she did our fabulous flowers. I could not explain on how emotionally happy I got when I saw all the flower arrangements and my bouquet, it brought me to tears. We meet with Bonnie two times. The first time we talked it was about our theme and what kind of flowers we have been looking at. She helped me choose the right type and what kind would be in season. The second time was a few weeks before the wedding and we brought her two boxes filled with vases, cups, and flower pots that I wanted to use for my wedding. She understood everything that I wanted and went beyond. It was everything I dreamed of. Our budget was not big but it sure felt like we spent a lot, I know no one else could have done what she did, so if you want some to work hard and pay attention to your details I would recommend the Tangled Vine and her team!!! It will be the best decision you make!

Love the food choices along with the recommended wines. The ambiance was the ultimate closure to a perfect evening.

Our wedding was August 18, 2013 in San Juan Capistrano so we wanted to arrange for a local florist if possible. We learned that Bonnie and The Tangled Vine have been used in the past and the past customers seemed very satisfied. I met with Bonnie and we had a great discussion on the specific type and color of flowers I wanted used as well as the soft romantic feel we were looking for in our vintage style wedding. She said she understood and could deliver exactly what I had requested. As I had seen her portfolio, I felt assured that the flowers would be great. Sadly, I was greatly disappointed on the day of my wedding in my flowers. The main roses I requested were not the color or type we had agreed upon, the antique pink rose with green edges had been changed to lavender, there was white hydrangea when I specifically asked for no white flowers to be used, and the dusty pink garden rose had been changed to a hot pink almost fuschia garden rose. Additionally, the beatifull wrapping I had so admired in the pictures from her portfolio were greatly lacking in both the bouquets and boutonnières, there was a large portion of stems showing on the bouquets and the wrapping looked loose and sloppy on all, and some flowers were fairly wilted despite being in an air conditioned room for a 10:30am wedding. I was very disappointed in the quality of service and still can’t understand how things went so wrong despite the in person meetings and emails. As your flowers are such an important part of of a wedding, I would not recommend using them.

I got married in Oct 2012 and used the ladies from The Tangled Vine for both photography and floral. They were a pleasure to work with and really helped my vision come to life. I highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you ladies for making everything so beautiful and stress free!

Our wedding was set for the fall of 2012. Soon after our first shoot for send out the dates for the wedding Kaylee missed all Dates and Times of our appointments and never called us back in a timely manner for requests regarding our wedding ceremony and reception. We ended up having no photographer for the day of our wedding. After the date of our wedding did conveniently responded back to us about what transpired. Kaylee refused to issue a refund or respond in a timely manner after only completing just our original photo shoot and was overall unprofessional. We will be going to BBB and other online sites unless a full refund is issued.

We got married November 05, 2011 at the Olé Hanson Beach Club. Everything was Beautiful Thanks to The Tangled Vine. Allison has been a close and dear friend to myself and husband for a long time and with the help of her partner Bonnie they made our Dream Wedding come true! Every little detail was exactly what I had envisioned. I had brought them wine bottles, candles and a idea of the Vintage Western me and they put there own little twists and ideas together to make everything perfect. It was absolutely amazing! Right before we went up the stairs to be announced as husband and wife, I looked around me and tears came to my eyes. I could not believe how they had captured our moment that I will never forget.

Bonnie & Kaylee are awesome! A few weeks before my wedding my aunt said she would not be able to do my flowers, I called Bonnie and she was so sweet, and able to make a gorgeous bouquet for me. Bonnie knew exactly what I wanted, and their prices are very good. Their shop is so sweet and cute, just down the tracks by the train station. They just opened up, but you will not find better customer service anywhere. You must stop in even if its to meet Bonnie & Kaylee. Kaylee does photography, and her picture are beautiful.
