Super rude people. Will not be returning. There’s another 7⁄11 a block or two west that has the NICEST employees who even keep dog treats behind the counter for my Pom. Unlike these guys who barked at me «NODOGS, GETOUT»

This Seven– Eleven provided the worst customer service experience I’ve ever seen! On Sunday November 24 at about 6am I was hungry and out of bread, normally I will buy my bread from the local market Barron’s but was too early. I thought back and forth about whether to buy from Seven-Eleven or go to Starbucks across the street. I went into the store, thought bagels would be a good idea, purchased the bagels with the owner asking«Is that all?» I said yes. Then made my purchase. Drove home which is very nearby, began heating my stove to make a bagel, egg sandwich. To my disappointment as I was about to toast a bagel from my recent purchase the bagels were all moldy. I was a little upset that now I have to go back outside into the 40 degree San Diego weather, but it’s only a block away, good time to take my dog for a walk. I put the bagels back into the bag, with the receipt and walked back to the same Seven-Eleven store to return these moldy bagels. When I returned to the store to tell who I learned is the owner that the bagels I had just purchased from him are moldy– he asked me in an accusatory tone«Why is this bag cold?» then proceeded to accuse me of exchanging the purchase I had just made with something from my freezer. Now any person in their right mind would know, if in fact these bagels were in my freezer they wouldn’t be moldy– the reason most people will put bread into the freezer to begin with. The man who I learned is the owner continued to degrade, and insult me, accusing me of lying for 2.29! My time to return back to store was more valuable than the 2.29 this sorry excuse for a Franchise owner could understand. He then accused me of lying again when I informed him I’ve been coming here for years. he told me he had never seen me before. After much harassment, accusations, and needing to demand my money back the man(who I learned is the franchise owner) threw the receipt at me, and when I threatened to complain to corporate he told me «go ahead, I have you on camera bringing back a frozen bag of bagels» I did complain to corporate, and received a call from the district manager who said he spoke to this franchise owner, who still insists that I attempted to return a frozen bag of bagels. He(the district manager) said there isn’t much he can do but apologize since the person at fault is the franchisee since the normal course of action would be the franchisee would make things better, and since the man is convinced he was right about his opinion(which was wrong) he refused to apologize. And after al this the district manager said all he could do is say he will continue to work with the franchise owner on his customer service skills. He also kept telling me this was the first time this store has ever had a complaint like this– which looking at other reviews I am guessing the others just didn’t go to the Seven Eleven Corporate site. Well after all this the district manager tells me he will send me coupons for Seven Eleven that expire 12/31/2013. So I have to say I’m really not happy first with the awful experience II had, and second with the way the district manager handled my problem.

Changed my review of this place because they started the policy of not using debit for lottery tickets. Cash only but you can get 5 back through debit to pay for the lottery tickets. This 7 – 11 has a major disconnect just like the one at the corner of balboa and Convoy. I live in the area so I guess my business will go somewhere else. So cheap and what’s the difference between using debit to pay for a lottery ticket or getting cash back through it. Garbage policy set by the owner.

Hands down the rudest people I’ve ever dealt with. The man who helped me was actually the owner! It’s hard to believe that the person who owns the business is so uninterested in keeping his customers coming back. No reason to shop here there is another 7 – 112 blocks west of this one behind the shell station.

Have you ever had to wait in line at a 7-Eleven? It’s super annoying. Well this place never has a line. I think I’ve only been here a few times(mainly for coffee and a yogurt parfait) on my way to work and had to wait behind one person in line. I love it! That’s how 7-Eleven’s are supposed to be: quick and efficient; that way, I can rely on stopping by without being late to work or school.
