I discovered this small gem hiding behind a tall building (the one right at the intersection of Harbor & Adams), also located across the apartments nearby. Who would it thought to be located right there! I came 15 mins before they were going to close and the barber shop Lady, Nena, was half way to finishing up her last costumer. But… She was so nice to take me in any way! Already after hours, it was my turn and Nena understood exactly what i was asking for and cut my hair the way that it was meant to grow. She’s Vietnamese but she can carry conversations and sing country music! But what’s amazing is that she is so proud of her work and really loves her job. She made that barber shop experience for me and now has made me a returning customer.

I went to three different barbers one day and all I needed was a quick cut. Two were busy but this one was steady flow. Small establishment, it’s a frills no thrills barber shop. My cut was quick and affordable. I felt like I came out looking like a million bucks. Kid friendly also, son had his hair cut their too. Definitely will return. One more thing, this place is cash only.

Good, fast haircut right in the neighborhood. Friendly people. The only thing I don’t love is that the $ 8 sign on the window makes you think your haircut is $ 8 the first time, but it’s actually seniors only. Regardless, I’m not complaining about $ 10 — good value here.

Mike is great — cuts my hair perfect every time and for a great price. Love the personal feel of his little corner shop. Always smiles and positive. I have him do my beard and hair trim every few weeks. Cuts my hair better than high priced or out of the box salons.

Clean, fast, good haircut. Mike doesn’t take appointments since it’s just him for now and he doesn’t want to deal with answering the phone all day — awesome idea! Better for the customer too since your haircut won’t be interrupted fifty times.
At any rate, great cut at a great price.
