Got the breakfast burrito(ham, bacon, cheese, potato, eggs) I said no ham but bacon is fine. It was ok… potatoes are oily soggy fries and they only gave me one piece of bacon the size of a pinky. The hot sauce is good which made it ok to eat. 1.5 stars.

Carne asada nachos. Swimming in sour cream. Barely any guacamole. Only thing warm were the chips and the carne asada. Cold cheese. Carne asada Quesadilla — no flavor Very sad since this place was our«go to» after school or late night. What happened???

The carne asada burrito I just ate was mostly guacamole… And had zero flavor. I will never eat there again.

For starters they are extremely rude at their drive through. They will not give you more than 2 salsas and I have found hair in my food multiple times but this is the last straw. My burrito was so hot that it nearly burned my hand, it had clearly been microwaved and I was not able to eat my food for 15 minutes. If I wanted a microwaved burrito I could have bought a frozen one

Breakfast burritos here are the best ever. Been coming here since 2002, and now live in OC. Was in town just had one and still fire. Come here 1 – 3 times a year and always taste great. Truly a staple in SD. Thank you

Very rude lady at the window. And cussing at other costumers when they ask for one minute to decide what to order… Maybe have a talk with her

Ordered a burrito in the drive thru i get to the window and ask to add cheese the old crabby lady looks at me as if i asked her to do a back flip! She walks away while I try to pay her and when she walks back she charges me $ 1 for cheese so I pay it and when I get home, surprise NO cheese but she sure charged me for it! All I have to say to the old sour woman is your JOB is only to take orders for people and is pretty easy and if your miserable doing that then get another job doing something else! Customer service is obviously not her strong suit and she should leave her rotten attitude at home!

I ordered a Sprite. You would have thought I asked the lady for a solution to every problem ever created in the history of the universe. I’m sorry you’re grumpy. I was thirsty. The soda was okay. 1 star for carbonation.

this is the closest taco spot to me so l decided to try it out. I was totally disappointed. I ordered a California burrito which came out soggy. The fries were undercooked. My wife ordered a cheese enchilada and tamale. The gave her extra enchiladas and forgot the tamale. The only good thing about this place was the horchata.

DONOTGOHERE unless you like regular tacos and burritos. DONOTORDER the mini tacos. I did, and they were so fatty, I spit out my first bite. I don’t know what kind of meat they used but there was a ventricle in one of my tacos. The beef taco and roll tacos tasted fine but beware of the mini tacos. A different kind of animal was definitely used and not in a good way. I gave this place one star just because of the mini tacos. YUCK!!!

I agree with a review below, you wanna keep giving this place chances to be better and it never is. The food isn’t terrible but I’ve had better. My biggest problem is the people are so rude. The lady there cut me off in the middle of my order and I said repeatedly that I wanted a coke. After getting my food, I stand there while she goes back to talking to her coworker and when I say I had a coke she looks shocked and says she didn’t charge for a coke, even though I said so 5 times. Then she takes my card and says«no cash?» and I say no. Take my coke and leave. I really hate to leave a bad review, but this isn’t the only time me and my family have experienced blatant rudeness. I’m going to continue to avoid the place.

This place is great, especially for late night. I even left my sweatshirt here on the table and called in, came back a week later and they still had it. I have to give them props for that!

Ordered my usual. A california with sour cream guacamole and no pico. The burrito I received was rather small. The hot sauce is extremely watery, somewhat spicy but no flavor. The French fries were undercooked. The carne asada was decent though. I appreciate the burrito not being to greasy or soggy like some places.

Chicken Tacos! They are the only thing I’ve tried here and maybe the only thing I will try here. One chicken taco is around 3.00 but includes one homemade hard shell taco packed with marinated, braised, moist and flavorful chicken, cheese and lettuce. One taco serves for a hefty snack, or a light lunch. The only issue is, that it takes an exponentially long amount of time to receive your order. Which for me is only 1 chicken taco. How can 1 chicken taco take 15 min? Anyways, Chicken Tacos!

I live walking distance from this place and I always try to convince myself that it’ll be better next time– it never has been. I love rolled tacos and while Albertaco’s has them for a low price, they’re so mediocre. There’s barely any meat inside and the sour cream that comes with it tastes like water. Every time I’ve been here, even if I’m the only person in line, the food takes at least 5 – 7 minutes which is a little too long for a drive-thru in my opinion. It’s more worth it to go to Señor Pancho which is just down the street on Montezuma.

My fiancé has been talking about their breakfast burritos. Finally tried their breakfast burrito(without ham) and loved it! I gave it 4 stars because the chorizo burrito was good, but not great.

I went to the Drake Concert last night and after a long evening of dancing, having some plump chic rub all up on me and pounding 8 dollar drinks, we needed some fuel. Walked(yes from SDSU) here, and got some grub as we waited for our cab to arrive(Older me takes cabs anytime i drink). I got a breakfast burrito, which was all fries, little egg and bacon, no sausage and ham as advertised. The fish tacos were really tasty tho, as were their rolled tacos. Open 24 hours is nice, but taking almost 20 mins for my order(when there were 2 other orders at same time) is shitty and making my cab driver wait 5 mins because you and your helper are slow is no bueno. I will come back since it is mexican food, 24 hr and by SDSU where all the ratchets are.

This is absolutely one of the worst taco shops in San Diego. The employees don’t know the menu. The food is mediocre at best. The only reason they stay in business is because they’re open 24 hours. Which means there’s an hour period where you can’t order anything from the grill. Then there’s an hour where you can’t order anything from the fryer. Seriously, do yourself a favor and go to the one down the road.

Shame this place seems to have gone downhill. Until at least the early ‘90s, this used to be a Roberto’s that was one of the most consistent places around. I cannot imagine how many giant $ 2.89 carne asada burritos that I had from this place over five years. Delicious, cheap and simple: asada, pico de gallo and guac… that’s it!!!

I really wanted sour cream in my burrito. I paid an extra .80 cents for my sour cream. My 4.55 carne asada burrito ended up being 5.55 for the extra fucking sour cream. & tax. As I was halfway done eating my burrito(when I was driving), I realized that I had not tasted any creamy white goodness in my mouth yet. Ok maybe they just put the sour cream at the end. I ate till the very end THEREWASNOSOURCREAMINMYBURRITO. TOTALLYRUINEDMYDAY. it was impossible for me to drive back and complain because I was already an hour away. Anyways I am really sad because I really really like sour cream. My hopes were up so high and then they were just crushed. Never coming here again. They also have a $ 5 credit card minimum.
