The staff are always courteous and incredibly helpful, especially if you are having problems with your flight and connections due to delays. Mark and Barbara rock.

Dave makes a mean«Muletide Carol!» Full of holiday spirit sprinkling! Not to mention he’s a total charmer! Comfortable seating, nice spicy snacks, friendly hostesses and bar staff :)

It’s called the Airspace Lounge since the remodel. Not the swankiest club in the system, but the staff are amazingly helpful. Full bar and good but simple hot food.

This is the place to be before or after a long trip. The people are great. Go see Dave the bartender and he’ll make sure you’re satisfied. He just had me sample a holiday creation of his. ask for it. It’s a combination of a Moscow mule with a touch of the holidays.

Best club in the network but no longer a true Admirals Club. Disappointed American sold this to and party vendor. The food offerings are measly and not up to the AC standards. The only reason it is five star is because of the agents working there. Marc, Barbara, Debbie, and the rest of them are truly the best employees in the company. They are always going above and beyond.

I already posted on the Airspace Lounge review board but the awesome staff at this place deserve the extra effort as they exert the same extra effort towards you during your visit. Professional, attentive, and well smelling — that is this place. Specifically, thanks very much to Dave, and the sweet lady with light brown or possibly brown hair at the door. Always a great visit.

Dave the bartender is awesome. He made some great looking drinks for one customer that we all commented on and he went the extra mile to give us all mini samples of the same drink. Super friendly and a great representative of American Airlines. His co –workers were equally attentive and pleasant. The drinks are free(if you are flying overseas like many of the customers were) but these guys work hard so don’t forget to tip them regardless of the zero cost drinks.

Walked in last night around 7:00 pm. The lovely woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful The room was spacious and well lit with lots of windows. The floor needed to be swept and the carpet cleaned. To be fair there was several people leaving to catch flights when I walked in. The snack bar needed to be restocked. It was quiet and the chairs were very comfortable. Overall not bad, but not great.

My local Admirals Club. It’s not the biggest or fanciest, but makes up for that with some of the friendliest, most helpful folks around. The remodel is a huge improvement, too. Now you’ve got a big room with lots of windows and light, a classy bar, ample seating w/outlets to charge your devices — and, my favorite, an espresso machine that makes a pretty mean capuccino or latte at the touch of a button. Snacks are pretty limited — some chex mix, oranges and apples, and muffins, at least in the morning. But nice way to start a day of travel.

Average Admirals club. Nothing spectacular here, just the usual. Smallish, comfortable seats, free wifi, etc. Food selection is poor to fair, which is the real problem here. Not sure why they can’t offer a better selection. Ladies at the from desk very friendly and helpful.

This club is undergoing a remodel. It is very spacious and the views of the airport are great. You can sit at the bar and just watch your plane come to the gate. The bar staff us awesome and friendly. They really know how to satisfy their customers. Just ordering drinks is a pleasure. The bar is managed very well and the place is kept very clean. I travel alot and always enjoy the San Diego Admirals Club. Cudos to Francisco and the entire Admirals Club staff.

They have no clue no idea how bad in looks though to be so extremely cheap with the scraps they put out. it would be better that they serve nothing than the stupid insult they call vip hospitality. American Air should demand more for its customers!

This could be a 2×2 room with a single broken chair and I would still pay every year to have access because I LOVE the staff. I really do. I could pay almost the same for a credit card and get free access but I don’t. I prefer to pay the membership because I want to support this club and its employees, who do an amazing job. This is my home club and it’s not a big one, so it makes sense that I know the staff by name. But they see so many people come and go that it’s the sweetest thing that they also know my name. And my husband’s. And my daughter’s. Actually, they all know how old my daughter is at any given time and they never fail to ask about her when I come in. As Toshi T. wrote, they also sign me in before I have a chance to get my card. They always check on my upgrade requests before I even come in and they always have a plan to re route before I even know that a flight is late. This club is going through renovation and should be ready at the end of the month. I’m sure it will be nice but I honestly don’t really care… Barbara, Sherry, Debbie, Arlene, Marc and the rest of the team are the club for me. Fancy or frugal, I’m there for the people more than for the space and this is the best team you could get.

This is a sad little lounge in San Diego. I hear it is being remodeled. I hope this is not the final product. It is just a room packed with seating. Not much different from outside. As always you will need to pay for everything except coffee and the yogurt pretzels.

Kind of a small club, but clean and relatively quiet. Terminal 2 where AA flies out of is under reconstruction and a bit of a mess. This was a nice break from an otherwise drab airport. Staff was nice and helpful as well

What’s the point in having status then having to pay for everything? Staff were great, that I definitely have to agree but again, maybe it’s a European thing but usually in lounges food and drinks free, that’s kind of the point.

This is my local Admirals club now, I have been to a few clubs and this one is small, but the staff is helpful, the food menu is kind of small but it is a small club and they open at 5am and close early at 630 or 7 I think so if you have a later flight you are hosed. Their bathrooms are kind of small for the mens, this can be a problem when you are on the road 100+ days out of the year and your body doesn’t know what time zone you are in.

I have been to many different Admirals Clubs all over the country – Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, etc., this is by far my favorite. Yes it IS small. But the people working here are amazing! One of the representatives, Sherri, knows me by first name, and she checks me in automatically when she sees me so I don’t have to fumble with my ID and membership card upon entering – I walk in, say hello, drop off my bags, and head straight for some lemonade(or something stronger). On one occasion where my late afternoon flight looked like it would be delayed, Sherri held seats for me on two earlier flights in case I was able to make those to avoid a delay returning home. If a flight looks like it will be canceled, SHE calls me and not some random AA rebooking agent. Because it is small, you definitely feel a more personal touch with the people working here. It never gets too busy, which is nice. And as nice as some of the Admirals Club Lounges are in Chicago, Dallas, Miami, etc., they can tend to get so crowded and noisy that it is no different than sitting right at the gate. Also, depending on which gate your flight is departing from, you might be able to see your plane taxi letting you time when you need to leave for the gate.

I had a work meeting in Rochester New York this past weekend. I got the opportunity to hang out at the Admirals club thanks to my boss. There’s a doorbell to ring to get into the club, then you are greeted by 2 very friendly staff. They are fresh plumerias everywhere including the restroom. They have complimentary soda’s and the pink lemonade is very refreshing. They even have a sunflower butter spread to put over the apples. This is considered one of the smaller Admirals Club but it’s very clean and plenty of TV’s to watch.

It’s nice to have a club to visit, but this location isn’t going to win any«Club of the Year» awards. The staff is terrific, being friendly and competent, but the club is on the small side, and I felt somewhat confined. I guess I just like open and airy, and while there are some windows, it just felt tight to be in there. It’s not bad, and I’ve definitely experienced worst… but there are better out there(though not necessarily at this airport).
