This store was closed since July 2012. Did not have a 800 number. So the person that said he placed an order made a mistake. Hope he called his bank.

I ordered flowers online for my wife’s birthday(Same day delivery). Naturally, Amy’s flowers came up first in my google search(alphabetical order). After placing the order, I got a quick confirmation that my order was placed. My wife never received her flowers. I tried several times to call the 800 number provided to get an update on the delivery. I got a voicemail. To this date, I still cannot get a human to answer the phone and have not been able to talk to a customer service person. To date, I still have not received a credit for my purchase or a reply to my numerous inquiries. In their defense, I did get a email saying I would receive a credit. I never got an apology or excuse. I was never rude with my correspondence, I kept everything professional and courteous. Having not received a credit or a response to my email regarding a credit, I am suspecting a fraudulent transaction and I feel it necessary to post this information to prevent this from happening to anyone else in the future. Word of advice — Use a local trusted florist. Especially for a special occasion. A business like this requires over-the-top customer service with special pampered attention to every order. A sterile website with no customer service department is not the route to go. I suggest the old-school way and stop by a local florist on the way to work or on the way home to send something to a loved-one.

Is surprising someone with flowers fun? Yes. Yes, it is. Is a ruined surprise fun? No, I think not. My boyfriend ordered me flowers a couple weeks ago to be delivered on Monday. I got a call on Monday telling me that the flower order that was supposed to arrive that day was going to be late and to accept their deepest apologies. «What flowers?», I asked. «Oh, the flowers…(insert BF’s name here) ordered you. « “He ordered me flowers?» «Yes, here’s what the note says». and he proceeds to read me a very sweet note that my boyfriend had written to me. First of all, you ruined the surprise. Why are you calling ME(the gift RECEIVER) regarding a surprise order of flowers?! Second, why are you reading me the note and telling me exactly what the order was supposed to be? I emailed numerous times, called and left messages and received no response. Serious mistake and no responsibility was taken. Real bummer.

I was referred to Amy’s Flowers by Fleur Du Jour in Santa Monica. I have been a total fan of Fleur Du Jour for years now and I figured that they wouldn’t steer me wrong. Boy was I right! Being that I needed to send flowers to a co-worker for a loss in their family, it was very important to me that this was handled with delicacy and elegance. I called and not only got Amy herself on the phone, it turns out she’s as sweet as pie. She took my order and understood exactly what I was looking for. She worked within my price range and sent out a beautiful tropical arrangement. I received great feedback from my co-worker who said that the flowers were stunning. After my experience on the phone, I wouldn’t have expected anything less. Amy’s Flower’s is just fantastic. Great experience overall. I would definitely use her again and again. Hopefully not for the same reasons. Just saying…

I went straight back to my senior Sadie Hawkins dance when I bought my lady a wristlet for Valentines Day. Seems like once you graduate, you don’t think of buying a corsage or wristlet for your date, but I went for it like a tweaker on a chocolate binge. She loved it(I think). The ladies over at Amy’s Flowers were really, really easy to deal with… and I got a pretty great deal on my floral arrangement. I couldn’t remember how much these things cost from when I used to buy them for high school dances nearly a decade ago, but this particular piece was totally affordable. Even though I gave them two full days notice, the woman on the phone informed me that it could be done within an hour, if needed. It totally wasn’t needed, but I appreciated the fast turn around service nonetheless. If you’re trying to surprise your boo with some fresh flowers, or you’re looking to recreate the rose pedal scene from American Beauty, rest assured Amy’s will have your back. **Note – if that American Beauty scene IS going down, I hereby volunteer to be the official photographer. Pro bono style… ‘cuz I’m rad like that.
