The sandwiches aren’t fabulous, but they satisfy. And where else can you find such a cheap meal within walking distance of this area? If anyone knows a place, I’d be thrilled. The smoothies were made from powder and kinda gross.

The sandwiches were good although there are better ones out there. A friend and I came just after noon and we decided to try this place out. Another dude got in line behind us. As it turned out we got the last sandwiches. They ran out of bread. What the heck kind of business runs out of their main product? A bad one. You’re a sandwich shop; you’d think that you’re first priority would be to stock what you sell.

In writing this review, I remind my self why I like Unilocal so much. It’s because most of the reviews are by regular people like me, and not some zealous news writer who’s trying to be creative in order to please someone and better his or her career. I found this place through the San Diego Union review, and was very anxious to try it. I never had banh mi, but heard great raves and was happy to have found a place. All I can say now is that if you’re looking for good banh mi, you shouldn’t waste your time here. I’ve been Unilocaling for while now; some peeps like me, others don’t. Either way, I hope all could apprectiate me sacrificing my stomach and dealing with a wonderous case of diahrea for finding the truth about this shithole.
