Food was fine but it was the dirtiest restaurant I have ever experienced –and I live at the beach.

We love sitting outside!!! Great music and great atmosphere! Macy was our waitress and she was the best!!! The steak and chicken nachos are the best ever!!!

Lobster chowder $ 5, drinks, great scenery right across the beach, reggae music=great time

I don’t write to many reviews especially negative ones but this place was horrible. The service was awful and our waitress obviously can’t listen. Asked for water and never got it. Food was very very mediocre and the cheese dip came out cold. I was charged and brought chips and salsa when I never ordered it.(I just ordered the cheese dip since my meal was coming with chips already.) Beef dip was probably a 3 out 10 and they forgot to bring the Aju until I asked. (the dip– obviously the most important part of a sandwich called the beef dip)
Their 2 for one margaritas were alright but a rip off when you compare it to their mega margarita which you would think the server would have advised us to do that based on the prices.
Their ceviche came out on the Luke warm side and was fishy (wasn’t sick the next day but me and my girlfriend definitely had a strong stomach ache)
My advice take your 75 $ (what I spent) to a place around the corner where you will get good quality food and I’m sure better service and environment.

Be prepared to spend 30 dollars or more for two drinks… With that being said, the drinks were delicious and strong and it was so nice to sit under the stars on the patio and watch all the dark waves crashing. Music was good and the bartenders seemed to enjoy every song. (I just wish they would put a ban on Taylor swift but that’s just a personal issue as I wish this ban was national, not just at this bar.)
The only thing that was kinda weird was when we went to pay for the drinks, the bartender said to my boyfriend «it’s gonna be a little more than that Hun.» The way she said it made us feel like she viewed us as broke or poor as we had to ask her how much we owed. As if she just expected us to walk away. If it were me I would say «I’m sorry, the total is actually…» Or something less assumptive. Perhaps not everyone is prepared to spend 30 $ for two drinks so perhaps she gets it a lot, but it was still off putting. So here you go, be prepared to spend…

Hidden gem in the heart of PB! I’ve been here twice now at different times of the day and week and can attest to how amazing this place is every time! Located right on the water, it’s been fairly easy to get a spot for 2 people out on the patio with PB’s fun mingle atmosphere.
Drinks are 2 for 1 Monday — Friday 4 – 8 PM which was a very nice surprise the first time we went. The jumbo margaritas are beyond amazing — I don’t remember the names of what I tried but they were both delicious. They are priced at 16.50 $ but come with 4 shots of tequila. You can also get the smaller size for $ 11 which is two shots.
Everything on their menu also looks good in terms of food — tried the nachos with chicken and they were absolutely delicious. They were jam packed with chicken, cheese, and all the good stuff.
Definitely will be back and recommend this spot to everyone.

Insect found in food!!! Grub found in rice so disgusted!!! The only reason they even got one star was because the service and view were amazing!!! Food started off great until I found a grub/​worm in my rice, they took care of the whole tab but the damage was done and I couldn’t even enjoy the nice view. I just hope I don’t get sick, where there is a grub there is usually eggs, ohh god I just can’t. The manager is aware and said this isn’t a normal occurrence so for health reasons I hope they make some changes and maybe even a surprise visit from the health inspectors???

The Cantina burrito was amazing and held together like no other and the Cabo was also amazing served with some amazing salsa! Biiiig drinks happy hour is a must! Courtney thank you!

Always go here. The best service and margaritas, so many flavors to chose from. Love to sit and watch the people walk by and the beach view is perfect.

Stopped in for early breakfast. Friendly service. Spinach Apple Brie Omelet was delicious. More than I could eat. Reasonably priced considering the amount of food you get.

+1 star: Mango Rith margarita is yummy!
+1 star: special nachos (it’s huge you can share it)
–1 star: bloody mary is too salty
–1 star: rude and snobby bartender (acting like we can’t afford their special drinks or food)
–1 star: because we had to ask for service and waitress didn’t want to serve or help us. I had to order the Mango rith (we didn’t get the umbrella that comes with the fruits for décor) by the bar and I had to carry this drink to my table out in the patio myself.

Awesome beachfront place at mission beach. Would recommend the margaritas. My husband and I had the Acapulco and it was out of world. service was quick too.

Nachos are outrageous. They are an all hands on deck ordeal that require several people. Cheese and toppings are layered throughout and not just on stop. They’re awesome

This little cute bar/​restaurant is so stereotypically anyone’s idea of California. It’s by the beach, it serves giant margaritas, it is filled with pretty people in summer clothes and their surfer boys friends with long blond hair.
Ok, now that we got the stereotypes out of the way, I genuinely did really like this place. The margaritas were delicious, the food was super nice. The service was good and it was nice sitting in the sun with a beautiful view.

I feel like this place is the only friendly door in Pacific Beach, haha. The service is always great and friendly. They are quick, get every order right, serve your meal with a smile. Their food is awesome. Great tacos and great nachos. You should also try their local lager and huge margaritas. The location is obviously very casual since they are located right at the beach in PB and the view is amazing. It has the right crowd as well with lots of locals, chill tourists and everyone else from young to old. If you haven’t been yet check it out and try to get a table on their outside patio. The restaurant is super clean as well. Music is chill and perfectly guides you through a relaxed weekend day.
It’s also fun to watch people walk by at the boardwalk and see many interesting and funny characters that California and San Diego in general has to offer. Go check it out.

A great place to people watch as you guzzle down the amazing and huge margaritas. So many flavors, my goal to the them all.
Food was pretty good. Had the chicken nachos, chicken tacos an be husband had the ahi tuna tacos. I will go back for th he foods too.
Sitting out on the patio is a plus. Great people watching and also great views of the waves and beach. Parking is a pain in that area, so just pay and walk.
Will be my new watering hole in that area.

One of the establishments along the ocean front walk in Pacific Beach that the wife and I pass when during our exercise walks in the area. Usually don’t venture down to the beach unless it is a weekday because I have no patience for crowds.
Stopped in here around 9 – 10 and was pleasantly surprised to find open tables outside. Great location with a beautiful view of the Pacific and great for people watching. Kept our meals simple because we were «exercising».
I ordered the breakfast burrito and a side of black beans and rice. The burrito was good, nothing extraordinary but the salsa served along with it really enhanced the flavor. Beans and rice were good.
My wife had the Spinach Apple Brie omelet with egg whites. She didn’t care one way or the other but really, who could like anything with grass (spinach) in it?
Service was a little slow but in our waitress’s defense she was the only one on duty for a while. All in all, a good place with a great view. I could eat here again. Enjoy.

Fun, cute little low-​key spot right on the beach.
Their normal drinks are HUGE! And happy hour is a little deceiving. it’s branded as «2 for 1», but they are half-​sized drinks, and you have to get 2 of the same one. So… you are getting two halves of the same drink for the price of one…
Either way, the «half-​sized» drinks are still the size of a normal drink! And I enjoyed mine a little too much.
Lands End Mango — 4 stars
Super tasty, super dangerous. Very sweet but not overpowering; the mango balances the drink very well.

This review is solely on the nightlife here and it is a 3.5 stars. Baja Beach Café is conveniently located by the boardwalk which makes for a nice ambiance. A lot of the other bars can get too crowded or long lines, however this spot does get busy, but not crazy busy! ;o)
The music is great here as they have the DJ spinning a good mix of songs new songs and a few throwbacks also they have the music videos all around on the TV’s up at the bar for your viewing pleasure. The bar overall open and airy whether you post up inside standing up or there are a few tables and chairs to hang out at or by the patio there are stools to sit at where windows are open and you can feel the refreshing breeze from the beach. the views are great and the crowd is a good mix.~
As for the service the bartenders and bouncers are pretty nice. and the cocktail drinks are made right! Come here if you’re looking for a coastal bar to enjoy the weekend :)

What a great place to chill with your buddies! They have huge margaritas here, and you can enjoy it over looking the ocean. They are literally right on the beach. Staff here was super nice considering we were a large group. I’d recommend their hot soups here which was fantastic. Definitely a great pace for first dates, romantic outing with your significant other, or simply enjoy the ocean view.
