I had not been to the dentist in a while and my wife made me the appointment, I have to say the staff is amazing, they are polite and welcoming and very professional. They really do help you navigate with your insurance provider to get you what you need wthout having to break the bank. Dr. Becker is awesome he tells you how it is, what your options are and is really good at his job. I highly recommend their practice to anyone looking for a dentist. You will not be disappointed.

I’ve seen my fair share of dentists and I have been really impressed with Dr. Becker and his staff. Scheduling is easy, I always get a reminder, they are accommodating and really nice and polite.
I’ve been nothing but happy with the care I’ve received. They’re very thorough with the cleanings, and Dr. Becker is really gentle even when doing major work. I’ve also been impressed with all their diagnostic and imaging equipment… state of the art. If you’re looking for a good dentist, he’s the one.

Dr. Becker and his staff are wonderful. I recommend his office to anyone I come across who is looking for a dentist. His equipment is advanced and they always do a great job on my teeth. His staff is second to none and are extremely helpful when it comes to scheduling and billing. I am so lucky to have found such a great dentist!

Dr Becker and his staff have been very caring and helpful over the last year that I have been going there. I needed a lot of work done and they helped me navigate billing with both of my insurance companies so that I had to pay little or none out of pocket. I drive over half an hour to get to their office and will continue to do so!

I was a patient at Dr. Becker’s office for 10 years… his staff, I found, was WONDERFUL. You couldn’t ask more than how Virginia serves the patients! Rene’ also was great… and, can’t say enough about the hygienist, Sandy, who had to move. She was AMAZING!!! Dr. Becker tho??? Yeah, NO… I have nothing good to say here. Available only TWO days a week? Will only use his cerec equipment? NO… I had to leave and see a new dentist I like very much. But… I will miss his staff! WHO works only 2 days a week???

It took a lot of frustration over many appointments to finally say ‘enough.’ I agree with Jake — his practice is disorganized and chaotic. I always am waiting 30 minutes. Today was the final straw. A new and incredibly RUDE hygienist — and I was going to let HER work on my teeth!?? NEVER! Dr. Becker is probably a fine dentist. He has a very poorly run office. I put up with it for way too long. Time to move on.

I felt the need to put in this review after reading a negative review of Dr. Becker’s office. I’ve been coming here for two years and have had nothing but exceptional service. Dr. Becker provides very thorough exams. He uses state-​of-​the-​art technology to diagnose and treat. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They are always present and on time, and I have never had billing issues. I always receive a reminder call. The hygienist does the cleaning, which I would expect, because that is what hygienists do. Dr. Becker always does an exam as well. He doesn’t hesitate to refer to endodontics for root canals, which I also like. The office is open Tu-​Thurs only, which is good because I want my dentist to be well-​rested.
I have been to many dentists in the Point Loma and Hillcrest areas, and have found Dr. Becker to be the best of them all!

Dr. Becker himself is a good dentist. His practice, unfortunately, is a disorganized and chaotic mess. They don’t understand how to bill insurance, they are always running late, I’ve shown up for appointments and the office is locked and no one is inside — when I call the next day they say that they don’t work on those days. Weird. For two checkup./cleanings in a row, I made an appointment, the hygienist did the work, and then when it came time for Dr. Becker to check on me, he had «just left for lunch,» and then «was busy with a patient.» Deplorable, and, to be honest, bordering on insurance fraud, as insurance was billed for a visit to a dentist, whereas I had visited a hygienist.
