I would give them 10 stars if I could! I’ve been going to Dr. Belnap for over 15 years and they are the best dentist team you can find in San Diego. Friendly, efficient, communicative, and caring for their patients. My family and many of my friends have been seen him as well, and everyone raves about how wonderful this team is. My twice-a-year cleanings are handled with care and I never get pressured into unnecessary preventative stuff that I’ve had in the past. When I did need a filling, my options were explained and the process was painless. My teeth are clean and my smile gets compliments because of Dr. Belnap and his team.

I have been going there for over ten years. Their customer service is amazing and they do a great job of cleaning my teeth. Julie always asks about me and doesn’t mind if I don’t want to chat too much. She always has a smile on her face. The office is always clean, the staff is professional and courteous.

Going local for local’s sake isn’t always the best approach. My husband went to Dr. Belnap in the Vons shopping center, and has had quite a few hiccups with his care. The best one was two weeks ago, when he was getting a crown, and Dr. Belnap did the crown ONTHEWRONGTOOTH. When my husband pointed that out after he started the work, and said«you’re not going to ask me for pay for that, I hope!», Dr. Belnap insisted, «well, I did do the work…». My husband said no, I won’t pay for you to put a crown on the wrong tooth, and Dr. Belnap agreed to charge only for the correct tooth to be done. We just now received a bill from our dental insurance company, and Dr. Belnap(improperly) billed our insurance for both crowns, despite his explicit agreement not to. Does that seem ethical? Our insurance company has opened a formal investigation. I asked hm to reverse the bill for the wrong tooth, and he reluctantly agreed. No apology, no discount or consideration towards the other(correct) crown cost, but more alarmingly, no explanation as to why he still billed our dental insurance company for work he did in error, that he agreed not to charge for. My husband will now be going to MY dentist in 4S Ranch, Dr. Douglas Lee, whom I highly recommend: …(858) 798‑9595
