$ 2 Macaroons /Definitely a place to stop by if you’re in the area. Other than that, I wouldn’t really make this place a go-to. The service was nice, the workers weren’t rude or standoff-ish. However, they wouldn’t let our group order all together and split the tab between cash or card. And the Unilocal check in coupon was valid for something they don’t even offer any more and they were kinda upset we asked to use it. Macaroons can get pretty pricey and $ 2 is a pretty good offer, they even offer deals like 8 for $ 15 or 13 for $ 24 to try and get you to purchase in bulk. They will charge you $ 0.50 for any purchase on card that is less than $ 10.00. Ended up purchasing a dozen, which included Hazenut, Green Tea, Chocolate, Strawberry, Blue Berry, Vanilla, and Cappucinno. Each was delicious and delightful however each top bun crumbled if you weren’t gentle enough. We tried the Macaroon ice cream sandwhich with Sea Salt Caramel, which was two thumbs up. They have stamp cards but you only get stamps for every $ 10 spent. Which is kinda hard unless you’re buying in bulk. Enjoyed my visit, but I am not dying to return.

Had a big order(2800 pieces) of macaroons for my event in San Diego. From the first phone call to the shop to inquire about flavors to the delivery of macaroons Sue was great and accommodating. Macaroons were out of this world good. I will use this bakery for my upcoming events. Greatly recommended!

I usually come here when I’m at Phuong Trang next door and buy an assorted box of macaroons for a steal. Buy 12 get 1 free.

I love these cookies but they are too expensive. You can buy similar quality from costco or trader joe’s for cheaper

This place brings back Japan memories for me. Their moist, yummy cakes. Their delicious Japanese pan(bread.) I just love I can come here & feel like home again. I had to stop by this place with Rowe R. to relive the nostalgia I grew up with. He loved the cakes I picked along with the stories/memories I told. I hope to order a cake for event here soon.

This bakery has a decent selection of sweets, macarons were fairly priced and and down right delicious. But they don’t start baking it until Tuesday, just an FYI. Smoothie drinks are also worth the wait(longer then normal) my opinion. Parking may be a bit difficult since its in a plaza.

The entire atmosphere and costumer service was great. We had such a wonderful time looking at all the the desserts as well as eating them! Plus they are cheap! They make the most adorable desserts.

I found this place a few years ago and since then this is the ONLY place I come to splurge on macarons. Before they only had those plastic bags or huge unattractive boxes for the macarons but now the packaging is a lot better. Though they do charge you for it, it’s worth it if you’re planning to give a box of macarons as a gift. I’ve had macarons all over the middle east, and these are the only ones in California that come close to the crunchy, chewy texture that I love! If you haven’t stopped by Joys, I highly recommend it!

Delicious French Macaroons in a variety of flavors. I got the chocolate, red velvet & strawberry ones. I really enjoyed the chocolate one, it tasted like fudge and it was very fresh and delicious. My 3 year old daughter ate the red velvet one and said it was the best macaroons ever, I must agree with her. It was the best macaroons that I had eaten. My wife had the strawberry one and she said it was orgasmic! We will be back for more soon!

I just had their blended coffee drink and WOW. Even my boyfriend coffee snob described the coffee flavor as «sinful». With my coffee I had the tiramisu, matcha cake, and their macarons. I only had a little bit of each, but I would buy one of their cakes for a birthday party. I really like how spacious the café is. It’s well lit and the girl behind the counter is really helpful and patient.

5 stars for their macarons! I’m always on the lookout for good macarons. Theirs are only $ 2 each and are perfectly fluffy, chewy and a lot larger than many other places. Highly recommend trying it! I got the pistachio and pumpkin flavor and they were both amazing! Service is nice and there’s plenty of seating inside. I’ll definitely be back for more and try their tons of other flavors(rose, vanilla, coconut, etc).

Best macarons in San Diego hands down. And I’ve tried many macarons, and also make them personally. Their cookie is nice and crispy on the outside with a good crunch when bit. The inside is chewy and moist. Flavors change daily. My faves are the pistachio and salted caramel. They also have a number of other desserts which are yummy. I’ve had the affogato; espresso with ice cream. So good. I’ve also sampled a few of their pasteries. All are good and baked daily. Definatley try this place out.

Biggest thing I loved about this place was the customer service, which is a rare find in any any establishment. I also thought the banana nut muffin and the smoothie I ordered were delicious too! Regarding the customer service– when I ordered my smoothie, I paid a 50¢ charge for my credit card since the total was below $ 10, which is standard at times. After I bought my smoothie. I decided I also wanted a muffin. The lady was very smart and, instead of charging me another 50¢, added the cost of my muffin to the tip. She saved me 50¢! Although a small thing to brag about, I felt good about the fact that she was conscientious of my muffu¢kń wallet! Dasswassup

I always come here for macaroons because they made their macaroons bigger for most places for only $ 2. I came back today and I swear they’re so much smaller. Like wayyyy smaller. What a disappointment. +they don’t make my favorite flavor(caramel) anymore):

Been coming here for about 2 years now, yet I always fail to write a raving review. Great selection of goodies and the cakes are to die for! Made fresh and they really pay attention to detail. The cakes are always beautiful. The pastries are consistently delicious, fluffy with freshness and tasty. The staff is so kind. Try the ginger honey tea they sell by the jar. It’s my favorite and has some health benefits. So many options here and whatever you want they can make. Well priced too.

Why don’t you smile??? I’ve been to this spot a hand full of times, and the lady who runs this place just never seems to be having a good day. I’m starting to think it’s me who brings the dark side out of her, but there’s never any joy in what she’s doing. If my lil guy wasn’t such a macaroon freak, I don’t know if I’d ever stop by again. The deserts are decent, and they probably have one of the better fresh fruit snow flakes on Convoy. I’m a fan of their coffee, but the cakes are hit and miss. The atmosphere is not all that welcoming, so it’s probably best to get things to go. In this industry, a little customer service goes a long way. So fake it if you have to, cuzz being around sweet stuff all day can’t ever be a bad thing. I’ve never seen Willy Wonka be a sour grape.

If you love coffee, cake/cookies, quiet atmosphere, and comfortable seating, then you’ll love this place! I had a macadamia latte and it was probably the best latte I’ve ever had. I’ve been all over the world and tried coffee in probably 10 – 15 different countries. so when i say that it’s great coffee, you can trust that my opinion isn’t given without experience. If you know anything about coffee,(lattes in this case), you know that the foam on top is very important. This one was perfectly thick and creamy, the coffee it’s self was flavorful and not too bitter,(very similar to dark chocolate in that sense). It was, for me, the perfect cup of coffee! Great prices, wonderful atmosphere, great service, friendly staff, fantastic coffee, and freshly baked goods!

Disappointed! My mom and I decided to check this bakery out after visiting a bridal store next door. We shared a SLICE of green tea custard cake and found it to be VERYDRY! It tasted like it was more than a day old or it has been in the fridge for a while and they served it! Looks are deceiving! It was a total waste of money $ 5.50 for a small slice of dry and bland tasting cake :((They also charge 0.50 cents if you pay with card for purchases under $ 10. I was also charged 0.99 cents for I don’t know what on my receipt. We had a very bad experience at this bakery. Don’t recommend. I give one star for the free water.

I’m always on the hunt for cheap and good macarons. I asked my friend to have coffee with me recently(Jonard T.) and wanted to pick something that was on the way home from work for both of us. It was a Thursday afternoon, around 4:30pm, the place wasn’t crowded, plenty of seating and plenty of options. I picked up an 8oz vanilla latte — they do not offer 8oz in to-go cups(only 12oz) and no non-fat milk. The macarons looked very appetizing so I went with a french vanilla and almond. Those are $ 2 which is kind of expensive, but not the worst of the worst. My order came out with adorable presentation. The latte had design, the macarons sat adorably on a tea plate. Flavors were delicious too, texture was good, not too sweet. My friend and I had the opportunity to catch up easily, sitting comfortably. You need to check out their dessert options yourself, the variety is endless!
