Great food and decent customer service one of the employees was lascivious and somewhat difficult to work with. All of the others were incredible and a pleasure from the start of my order to the follow up to see if my food was good enough. We definitely plan on going back. The food was fresh and made exactly to order.

Great shop on NBSD. Best sandwiches south of downtown SD. Very clean. Friendly staff, always accommodating. Large selection of bagels, and excellent coffee.

They are taking advantage of the sailors who don’t have many food options on base. This place is perfect if you want a $ 6 bagel sandwich with one powdered egg a piece of Kraft cheese, and 2 heat lamp pieces bacon. A rip off. There is a subway down the street, way better.

Brueggers is decent, nothing more nothing less. I like their soup and salad options. I also like that everything isn’t a belly buster in here, even though I’m not a huge fan of most bagel shop chains. The breakfast bagel enthusiast will most likely be satisfied here. There are over 20 different bagel varieties and they have close to 10 featured breakfast bagel sandwiches. Lunch options are paninis, sandwiches, more stuff on a bagel, salads, and soup. Brueggers is keeping its head above water with me due to the fact it has ripe bananas available for those of us who want to skip the nutrient empty bagel choices early in the am. Oh yeah, Naked smoothies are a good touch too. I’ll go here in a hurry over McDonalds any day of the week.

Had a very pleasant lunch with friends here. It was peak lunch time — 1130 to 1215 — and we had no wait at all. Ordered a bagel sandwich with chipotle, bacon, avocado and lettuce and tomato and it was delicious! The bagel came with a pickle as well. They honored a two for one coupon for me as well. Overall, it was a little pricey but good and I would go back.

The trio is a great lunch deal. A drink, soup, and bagel sandwich for about 8 bucks. Better deal than the subway on base. Workers are friendlier too.

Tried many places on base to be disappointed in the end. This place is the exception! Fresh bagels and fresh sandwiches! for an on base restaurant this place has its perks a-ok in my book. Cheers!

I like this place, great breakfast wraps and cool service. I go to the one on Naval base San Diego. If you work or are in the Navy at NBSD check this place out.

Tends to have a long line in the mornings. It’s one of the only breakfast options off-ship for hungry sailors, so plan to spend at least 15 – 20 minutes waiting in line and getting your food. Bagels are pretty good. Cranberry bagel with honey walnut cream cheese is my favorite. Eggs are a little rubbery, so make sure that there’s enough other stuff on your bagel sandwich to balance that out if you’re a texture person. I don’t like their veggie sandwiches. The sandwich veggies seem like they were recently defrosted or poured out of a can. Not fresh at all. The salads are ok.

The fact that they are open when I get to work is awesome
