I love this place, am a happy pregar who’s craving almost any healthy food at this end of my pregar days… But it’s my first time trying on the patty Melt, I guess it’s not bad, as I walked in it looks so good and I couldn’t resist, but I gave it four stars because it tasted a little unsatisfying,

First and foremost gotta give this place some props for some great servers and customer service. The food was delish. I ordered the patty melt, half n half and some lemonade. All of which was good. The patty melt a good crisp to the bread and the burger itself had good flavor. Although I saw a crust on the meat, I didn’t taste it really like I wanted to. The other downside would be that the oils from the melt made the bottom half of my bread a bit soggy. The fries and onion rings were yum! The lemonade to wash it down was refreshing. Everything looks like it’s a la carte. A bit on the pricey side to me so maybe jus once in a while.

I’ve been to this Burger Lounge several times. As far as food(taste, presentation, quality) this place is amazing. Everything tastes great, the menu is easy to read and understand, and the ambiance is very good. Now for the bad. The prices always make me go «yikes» … even when I prep myself for it. The available space to place orders is incredibly tiny, and if there are more than two people waiting to order it gets VERY confusing … people jumping line, cashiers scrambling, and no one truly knowing which registers are«open.» All in all, not bad. But be aware of these frustrations(if they could bother you the way they bother me).

The burgers are delicious here as were the fries. It’s small inside so you might have to

I think this is the only burger lounge that I’ve been to, but all in all I’d say it’s pretty good for what it is. They have lots of different meat options, I got the albacore tuna burger, but they also have turkey, regular, and other rotating options. All their ingredients feel fresh and healthy. Pretty classic burger joint, but in my opinion, nothing over the top.

After having hour poor service at fig tee, next door to Burger lounge. We had a great comfortable lunch. Out of the sun. Service staff if very attentive and detailed to helping and going the extra mile. We came in a few minutes before opening and they didn’t denied us. Thank you!

I am a burger snob and as you can tell by all my burger house reviews I love burgers. This place is good and healthy for a burger joint. If you get the lettuce wrapped burger you will be flying hi and eating true paleo. However, who doesn’t like fat and flavor on their burger? If you’re eating paleo or on a cheat day this is the place for you. I suggest this joint to others and go often.

This place never fails. Grass fed cows are the way to go. Possibly one of the best burgers out there!!! I am satisfied with the Lounge Burger. Grilled onions — - yummmmmm. Their fries and onion rings are amazingly tasty!!! Worth the $$

Our fambams fave burger joint. Pretty cool vibe organic and fresh healthy foodies. My all time fave is the fresh salad and seared albacore, kids love the grass fed burgers. I don’t like to eat beef burgers but if I have to I choose turkey burgers. Hubby loves the kale salad & burgers. They serve beers here. Customer service here is super friendly and they always check on you. High five! I’m giving them 5 stars!!!

Fantastic! From the second I walked in the door, my experience was great. The girl behind the counter was very cheerful and knowledgeable. She was able to break down the differences between the burgers. The menu is super simple, so it makes it easy to make a selection. They also have 2 different sizes of each of the burgers; either a ¼lb or a 1/3lb burger. The fries also come in 2 size portions. You have to purchase everything separately, but you can easily split the large portion fries between 2 people and be satisfied. The beverages are their own brand and they taste fantastic! I had the Shirley Temple and it was delicious. The servers keep your glass filled so you aren’t ever thirsty. My burger and fries came out pretty quick and it tasted delicious. The burger melted in my mouth and the fries were heaven! My experience from the moment I walked in, to the moment I left, was awesome. Highly recommend if you want a good quality burger and fries.

I’ve been here several times and always had a pleasant experience, so it makes me sad to have to write a bad review. There were three young women working the counter and bussing tables. Ordering was fine, the food was good, but when I wanted to get a refill of my lemonade, I couldn’t get the attention of even the gal bussing tables. I was standing with me empty glass in my hand and she walked right past me and avoided eye contact. I tried to get her attention again and she went back into the kitchen. I went back to my table by the registers and after another 2 minutes was able to get the attention of one of the other girls. I nicely asked if I could get a refill which she did promptly, but when she handed it back and I said thank you nicely again, she just said, «yeah» in a very short and rude way and didn’t even make eye contact. I totally understand that we were here towards the end of the day, but I was nice and everyone who worked the shift I was there was just rude. Kind of bummed about that.

Had a nice time here last week. Menu was simple and easy, staff was super friendly, and the food arrived pretty quickly. Ordered a kale salad with grilled chicken, plus fries(which was a lot for a regular-sized order) and a glass of their lavender mint lemonade. Initially thought my food that arrived was too small of a portion, but it ended up being really filling. Great place to visit, but keep in mind that adding little items to your order really does add up. I think my total ended up around $ 17.

Grass fed burgers are my thing. I like that burger lounge carries grass fed beef. A flavorful patty that’s not too thick, topped with organic American cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, onions and their house made 1000 island dressing — boy, oh, boy! My mouth is watering as I type this. Call me boring, but I like to keep my burgers the classic way, none of the trimmings like BBQ sauce or caramelized onions, etc. etc. Their fries are topped with chopped herbs, well salted and perfect. It’s $ 3.50 for a small portion, which is never enough for me, so just order the larger size. It’ll be gone in 60 seconds before you even know it. Quick, easy and delicious lunch in Hillcrest.

Yaaaaas! This is my favorite«I’m drunk & hungry» place, but recently tried it for lunch and it’s still amazing. The fries are the best you can get anywhere. Really. They taste like potatoes! Shocking? Well it shouldn’t be. that’s what fries have become. greasy shells with no souls. Here, they’re salted and herb-ified and perfect. On to the burger… Got the regular burger with everything plus bacon. The bacon was THICK just like the jalapeños and pickle slices ITWASJUSTSUCH A SURPRISETOHAVEFRESHTHICKSLICESOFEVERYTHING. Really knocked it out of the park, I say. Little on the expensive side but Dude/Dudette, it’s worth every penny.

Burger Lounge cooks up a decent burger. The meat is fresh and their buns and lettuce also taste very good. I think they kind of overdo it a bit with the advertising on how much better their burgers are than the competition. As I said before, the burger is decent but not out of this world. This meal costs $ 17. I can get a meal of equal quality from In-N-Out for about $ 6.50. If it was under $ 8 – 9 dollars I would give it a five star but I can’t warrant that when it’s more than double what it should cost.

Burger Lounge is the anti-McDonald’s. If you’re tired of over-processed food product originating from unnatural cyborg-animals; mixed up by the vat-load a week ago by some ex-con sporting a Mike Tyson face tattoo; and trucked in from an unmarked warehouse in B.F.E. — this is your place. For me, this is the«burger mecca» of San Diego. And by San Diego, I mean Carlsbad, Coronado, Del Mar, Gaslamp, Hillcrest, Kensington, La Jolla, and Little Italy. How do I know? Been to ‘em all. {“I don’t always eat burgers, but when I do I choose«Burger Lounge”}. Additionally, they’re starting to pop up in Los Angeles and Temecula– because you can’t stop a good thing from expanding outside of the county(this is why fish tacos that we invented {/stole from San Felipe} are now available in all 50 states). The beef burgers are made from local grass-fed beef. Cows eating grass, not lab-grown chemically fortified poly-turf. They also have free range turkey and veggie burgers. Add Applewood smoked bacon and on anything. What are these things called«salads»? You’re not here for that(notice the orange sign out front that doesn’t say«Lettuce Lounge»?). Feeling guilty or unhealthy? Little side salads blend romaine, spinach, and arugula with a house-made vinaigrette. Four dollars. If you have aboulomania(pathological indecisiveness) or simply can’t choose between the fries and onion rings, the ½ and ½ is a half-order of each. To drink: besides the usual beer, wine, soda, lemonade, or iced tea — consider splurging on the«Big Lounge Shake» with malt. Life is short. Now what are you waiting for?

I’m a fan of Burger Lounge and I’ll tell you why: 1. Grass-fed beef! Taste the difference. Trust me. Not only is it healthier meat, but it the taste is so much fresher. 2. Organic, cane sweetened soda. Unlimited refills 3. Portion size is just right.(might be too small for the average American), but it’s a healthy portion and makes me feel less guilty for eating«fast food.» 4. Excellent service. The lady who brought me my food refilled my soda. Even though this is a fast food restaurant, it sure didn’t feel like one with service like that. The classic burger + small fries + fountain cola = $ 12 and some change.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon with our pups. The patio was nice and allowed us to enjoy our meal with a place for our dogs to chill. I thought their burgers were good. I like their concept. They had Mexican coke which was a plus. Overall good burger place. Fair pricing.

Burger Lounge is AMAZING. Do you ever have one of those staple places you have to bring someone from out of town? This place is it for me. Their burgers are grass fed and fresh. While I’ve heard great things about the beef, their turkey burger is outstanding. I don’t eat red meat and usually get stuck with dry, frozen, poorly constructed turkey patties at most restaurants. Burger Lounge’s turkey is moist and flavorful with tons of fresh basil packed in to the patty. It’s so good that my husband, a carnivore, won’t even get the beef patty anymore. The grilled bun, fresh cheddar cheese, grilled or raw onions, and In-N-Out style thousand island sauce push it over the edge. And if thousand island isn’t your thing, BL makes ketchup, BBQ sauce and ranch from scratch. For a side, the item I love is their onion rings, which are quite possibly the best onion rings I’ve ever had. Perfectly crisp and light with panko breading, I can easily eat the large order by myself. Throw in a side of their house-made ranch and life is perfect. If you’re looking for a more health-conscious approach, the fresh vegetable salad with homemade lemon-basil dressing is a solid choice. While they can get busy, Burger Lounge does take call ahead orders which can help minimize time spent waiting in line. Because everything is fresh, sometimes it can take awhile for your order to be ready. When it eventually comes out though, it’s definitely worth it.

I love this place, usually. However today was an ultimate fail. We called in 2 turkey burgers to go and get home to complete uncooked meat. Both burgers were PINK(see pic below). When We called in to complain the guy on the phone said its completely normal for their burgers to be pink, it’s the mixture of meat they use. Now I’m not a meatologist but I know cooked meat and meat that will pass you salmonella. Disappointed Burger Lounge! Very disappointed.
