C C & R Restoration

Can’t say enough good things about this company! Very impressed with the way they handled business. I needed some restoration to my kitchen and they handled it so smoothly. I’ve never had any issues with owning a home but recently my kitchen was stressing me out! I wanted a local business and I heard good things about CC&R so I didn’t hesitate! Definitely a lot of integrity and experience and I saved their info in my phone for future jobs if needed!

Updating review to 4 Star. Bill reached out regarding my concern. He explained their office ladies are fairly new and are in training. I’m sure Bill and his company would’ve provided great service as indicated by my insurance agent. I was originally going to delete the review as agreed upon with Bill but I don’t think it’s fair to Unilocal users.

Recently had a interior/​garage wall repaired. Staff was prompt, courteous, very neat and did excellent repair and paint. Worked well with our dog being mindful that he did not get out. Work surpassed our expectations ! Would highly recommend them for drywall, electrical, and paint. Very pleased with length of time of completion and high quality of staff and expertise

Buyer beware. This company #CC&R #Construction #company is one of the most dishonest companies I have ever worked with. They were selected by my homeowners insurance @AAA on March 3, 2015 as the preferred vendor to do the demolition needs at my home is San Diego due to a category 3 sewage back-​up caused by my HOA maintenance negligence. I am physically too ill right now to complete this review but will do so with before and after pictures when I am well again. There is a list of dishonest charges and work performed backed up by emails and before and after pictures. I am writing now in the event you are needing a repair or to build out. My assigned adjuster from AAA quit in the middle of my claim and said verbatim, «He could not take working with these contractors anymore». Said he was a sub contractor of AAA and quit the claims department for having to work two claims with these contractors. Stay tuned.

Awesome company they went above and beyond on my remodel for my kitchen. They were so quick and so precise with everything. I feel like my kitchen should be on a cooking show. Brittany was great at keeping me up to date and walking me through everything I wanted and needed to know about the job.

These guys are great. We had flood caused by a water heater leak, and they took care of the water damage. They showed up right away, were highly professional, and worked directly with our insurance company. We are completely happy with the work they did.

Jeff and Craig (CC&R employees) were fast and efficient while working in my home!
I have toe-​kick (cherry wood) surrounding the base of my kitchen island that needed replacing, due to water damage. They measured accurately and produced a beautiful cherry finish on the new wood. My island looks new again :0

CC&R was engaged by owner’s insurance company and they worked as slowly and unpredictably as possible while violating every consideration for our personal property and domestic integrity. Our custom stainless steel island top was ruined and, under their «supervision» our personal property was vandalized. They promised to «make things right» and then never compensated us for what they ruined and broke. Their «supervisor» was never on site (why all the different daily workers had no idea what was going on) and when they were done with the tile work they did, they forgot to seal it! They were well paid to pack out kitchen belongings, and left some things out to get dirty and when they packed in and just threw things randomly back into the cabinets said «well, we’re not a professional pack-​out company» Yet they were paid to make a total mess of our things. As another reviewer said — there were days with one or two people were there (most times different guys every time) and many many days with NO activity whatsoever. They were told to NEVER use the garage, but not only did so, but left our garage open on a rainy day while hauling debris out through it. They left trash and cigarette butts around outside. Their «clean-​up» afterwards was ridiculously minimal and they never followed up. They didn’t clean the screens of the drywall dust residue, nor many other areas. They used the new stainless steel kitchen sink during construction and scratched it and left it dirty. In short (since this is long) they lied (a lot) vandalized our personal property and acted like a gang of thieves. Cannot believe USAA works with a company like this. What a racket.

By far, the worst Contracting Company I’ve ever dealt with. The job was overdue by at least six months. Many times one individual was sent to work, no crew, no additional person… one individual. The work was average at best. The worst was never knowing when they were coming. Would say they were coming, which required schedule re-​arranging, and not show up. When called, often they would say they are supposed to be there, didn’t know what happened. As far as the paperwork is concerned, what a nightmare. Figures never matched billings, if any billings were even sent. When questioned, received another stack of paperwork — again with no figures matching — incredibly frustrating. Still no resolution to date — Would absolutely find a different contractor — Do not waste your time and/​or money with this company.
