It’s 10⁄6 at 10:40am, the girl working the drive through, I think her name tag said Tammy or Tamille or something. Just wanted to leave her a compliment because she was extremely polite and spoke very clearly. I was just really impressed with her service. I don’t ever leave reviews for fast food places or big corporate businesses but I just couldn’t leave here without letting you and the business know that she’s one of the best service employees I’ve ever encountered! Keep up the good work!

Clean and quiet place for breakfast. Friendly service. Ordered the new pork chop biscuits. Actually very good. Manager very helpful. One side note: it cost $ 1.00 to use debit card?!. Why would Carl’s Jr. allow such charges? Very disappointing to see a well known fast food place charge customers for convenience! Will return but only for a very limited occasion or once a year maybe. Disappointed with convenience charge use on debit card.

Be careful when ordering here. If you like to order the Brotien burgers, they overcharge you if you ask for a double. The pricing for singles versus doubles is supposed to be structured like the regular burgers but instead they charge you extra for a patty which is twice as much. Most other locations I go to get it right. It costs $ 3 more to order the same thing at this location. I can’t say the drive thru is the fastest either…

I went last week, it was a nice treat. I never eat fast food of this type. The burger was great, and the location was clean. The bathroom was clean. The only downside is the loitering homeless man that was in the dining area. He was intoxicated and asking for money etc.

I have been going to this location and the employees have always been friendly. However, last the I went the Assistant Manager: Ann Marie was very disrespectful. As I was ordering my Food I ask if she could«add Jalapeño poppers to my order» and she responded with a rude, condescending tone that She could not add them to the burger, I advise her that what I meant was on the side. She then proceeded to correct me and tell me that I should say my order correctly and not say«add to order» and say«add on the side» Her tone was so rude and her statement was unnecessary. I will be writing a letter to the Manager of the location and in addition writing a letter to corporate. This treatment was not lack of costumer service, it was offensive and intentionally condescending due to my poor english skills as I am foreign.

I stopped by here with some friends on our meal break yesterday. I know what I’m getting into as far as the food. Not good for me but tastes good so once in a while isn’t too bad. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and a breakfast sandwich. One of my friends got his food after 5 minutes or so and the other in another 5 minutes. I then waited another 15 for my meal. I was pissed I couldn’t believe it. The place wasn’t packed and when I got my food they said they only had one cook. A cook? Or a microwave operator? I saw at least 2 people in the back. As I sat their I continued to see so many people get their food in a timely manner that hit the drive thru. Needless to say I will always use the drive thru going forward. No complaints about the food it was what I wanted and expected.

Why do cooks press on the burgers while they’re cooking? They’re releasing all the juice and flavor. You wouldn’t do that to a steak or prime rib, why make the burger dry and tasteless? Leave the fat and flavor please! Retrain the cooks and explain it. Doesn’t anyone watch bobby flay or food network? Never again press all the juice out of burgers please. Service was fast and friendly at least.

Tried the all natural burger. The best part was the condiments on it, which were good. The patty itself seemed dry and pre-made. The fries were good but not hot. The service was good. I dunno, I’ll try it again. Del Taco right up the street has a good, consistent burger if that’s what you want.

Oh my god I can’t say what I would do without place I just got back from a trip with my sons to Tijuana and this is like an oasis in the desert they have ice cold cokes and they have ice cold water, hot fresh hamburgers with french fries my son saw a man who was in a wheelchair with no legs to he look like a midget in there was another lady behind him was a midget too and she was screaming. If this place had a hundred stars I would give them .99 it is so great to be back in USA in this place gets an obligatory 5 stars just for being American :-)

Close to where i work, the people are nice and friendly, the food I’m a fan of their 6 dollar burgers, they are fresh all the time and well made and there fries are good not to salty like other burger places.

Stopped going here for a long time due to their decline in service. I went today because I was famished, and was reminded why. It took them 2 times to get my order right… hi, all I wanted was a dr pepper and a spicy chicken sandwich. Got to work and… guess what? They gave me tea instead of dr pepper. They weren’t even busy and it took me 10 minutes to get my food in the drive thru. Won’t be going here again.

I swore, I swore I would be true And honey so did you So why you were you holding her hand Is that the way we stand Were you lying all the time Was it just a game to you But I’m in so deep, you know I’m such a fool for you You got me wrapped around your finger Do you have to let it linger Do you have to, do you have to Do you have to let it linger The Cranberries — Linger Dear Del Mar Fair fried zucchini, I am sorry I strayed. It’s been almost a year since I tasted your savory delights. Your light tempura batter which perfectly accented your fresh zucchini flavor. Your unique scent fresh from the deep fryer. How I’ve longed for you. I was told Carl’s Jr. had fried zucchini and I could not resist. The Carl’s Jr. fried zucchini looked like little herb coated frisbees. I was a bit scared… Looking like a zombified form of the zucchini I stir fried last week… On the plus side they were hot out of the fryer and the batter was crunchy. I’m tasting mostly herbs and a bitter aftertaste from the oil. I can’t taste the zucchinni and I couldn’t drink away the aftertaste. I’m thinking the oil needs changing as I’m tasting the last few days worth of onion rings and batter in the aftertaste. :-P Took a thorough teeth brushing with double shot of toothpaste to free me from the horror. I also tried a beef street taco. The flour tortilla tasted just like the ones at El Pollo Loco. Nasty bite in the flavor. I tried eating just the meat but the fake Mexican flavors were even worse. *sigh Ruined perfectly good pieces of steak. Why couldn’t they have just seasoned it with salt and pepper… I have paid dearly for my sins and beg for your forgiveness. I will bow before you when the Del Mar Fair starts and pay whatever penance you require. Sincerely Yours, Soo

Decent place to get your grub on for lunch. Burgers are overpriced so I don’t go here unless there’s a promotion going on. I like the new upgraded facilities; makes it feel more suitable. When you check in using their app, you get to spin for free food.

I forget about this location a lot because its in an awkward location, up on a hill. So I was feeling a little tired and weak after I donated blood at the Chargers blood drive and I needed some serious beef. Came here and got the buffalo sauce burger with blue cheese. It was so unexpectedly good! And so are the sweet potato fries. I’m a fan of their 6 dollar burgers, they are fresh and well made. I wouldn’t normally write a review about a fast food place but this burger was surprisingly delicious!

We often stop at this location when we’re tired and can’t cook. We always go thru the drive thru. Usually have a coupon. The person on the loud speaker is always cool. Coupon, no problem. The food is pretty consistent. No complaints. There are locations I refuse to stop at, this is not one!

I’ve really only been here once. I would’ve opted for the one in North Park but I was famished and needed to go to Target anyway. Had the Jim Bean Bourbon Burger. I liked the fries. The burger itself was a little overdone and too dry. I wasn’t bad, per se, but I know it could’ve been better. My favorite Carl’s Jr location is the one on Broadway, in the Costco shopping center in Chula Vista. That one knows what’s up. If not that one, the in North Park on El Cajon Blvd.

Turkey Burger after the bars FTW! My friend was craving this thing since we saw it on commercial. After the bars it was her traditions to go to Carl’s, and so we did. Since it had jalapenos, I decided to jump on the bandwagon. We went all out and got the fatty fries and everything. The worker even let us get have try all of the sauces. We went to sleep happy… What a trip!

Disappointed at the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit I had here on 10⁄27. Biscuit seemed to have been sitting around for a while… not fresh or fluffy. Bacon was so thin I could barely taste it. I’ve had better breakfast sammiches elsewhere.

This Carl’s Jr. has a good service inside. I never use the drive thru, so I can not vouch for that, even with my to go orders. I had a coupon for 2 biscuits with sausage for $ 1, so I got those and a medium coffee to go.( ) The biscuits were actually quite good for a fast food place. I mean, they were better than I have had at regular breakfast joints. The biscuits were very moist and flaky. I could not believe it.( ) The sausage patty was good for a previously frozen variety. The coffee was good and the pice was under $ 3, so who am I to complain… Good service too.

Okay, I gave this location three chances, but each time was appalled at how SLOW the service was! 1. Came in to simply order a coffee and bounce. I show up and an employee is getting into it with their boss. I stood there awkwardly as they finished their argument. My bad for wanting to order something when you clearly want to tell your boss where to stick it… 2. The next time, I came with a friend during lunch hour. I ordered a french fry and my friend got a turkey burger combo with sweet potato fries. Firstly, it took 10 minutes for them to put a bag of fries in a bag and hand them to me. Heaven forbid you order something exotic like sweet potato fries because you’ll be waiting almost 20 minutes! 3. Again, just here to order fries and a drink. First off, it takes 5 minutes to even be acknowledged by the staff. Yet again, the staff was stumped with how they would go about assembling my order. Step one: put fries in a box Step two: put box of fries in a bag Not that hard.
