Now this is a liquor store. I felt like a kid in a candy store. Amazing/​charming staff, great prices and they close at 2am!!! Got all my munchiees from this place along with my ciroc ;). Keep up the great work guys and I will definitely be returning to this store

Cross the street with care! Good prices, great family who runs the place. Great NYC bodega in a relatively urban oasis of the neighborhood. Most folks come here often. Truly is community corner store from the old days. They just don’t have jamaican beef patties, but I wish they did! Wraps and papers priced right, and they always have basic essentials: toilet paper, milk eggs, tortillas, butter, bananas. Plus they respect and patronize the homeless citizens in the area. Good spot overall!

We drove past this place while looking for parking for our hotel and decided to stop on our way back from Balboa Park. They have a wide selection of wines, ales and ciders. We got some cider and a bag of chips and our total was about $ 11

Move over Bloomingdales and Nordies! theres a new bitch in town… and her name is City Liquor House… mmmm KAy??? so whats you got now? Customer service was born at this particular location, so everyone should STOP. Listen…and recognize okay!!! this place is like
…yea i said it! so if you need some late night drinks and munchies, head over to the house in the city with liquor otherwise known as «city liquor house». Tell Chris and Erika i sent you and that your family… its just one big happy family here:) although you gotta make an effort with the bald teddy bear (mark) that works there… flash him a smile and your own a piece of his heart forever! thanks CLH for being a great neighborhood fixture, with honest caring people… PS a shout out to Ramiz who is always there to greet you with a warm smile and last but not least… MAMA! i love you kiddos!!!

Open late. Scizzy people guaranteed to be inside. Mostly the friendly, mumbling, alcoholic kind.
But sometimes scary. One time, meth-​guy with sores waved to me as he passed by. I ignored him. He waited outside. He demanded money. I gave him a dollar. He demanded more. I said I didn’t have any more. He stared me down. This was the only time in my life where I thought I would actually get stabbed. I looked behind me at least five times walking home. This all happened around noon.
