Joe was fantastic. Superb knowledge and just instantly knew his way around the system. I’ve had people that trace it all out and you can see that thought process. Joe knew this like second nature. Very impressive
he fixed in one day more than Leslies or other companies that had been in our home.
funny enough our neighbor used him and recommended him to us. he fixed the skimmer so fast. noticed that the float valve was missing (like I would know there was a missing item, but I would have expected other companies to know that!)
he cleaned filter out, extremely reasonable price too. Fixed our spa motor that was spewing water everywhere. fixed our skimmer, told us we needed the float valve. Fixed a leak. Cleared the blockage that I failed to find that halted the pool from filter, Fixed low spa jets.
advised us on a better cleaning bot, which is lower energy and is running real nice too (plus can climb the steps and clean them. which is awesome.
Even changed his schedule to accommodate for the huge el nino weather we had, really considerate

This place is really as good as it gets. I had an issue with my filter and pump sucking in air that I spent two full days trying to sort out. The best decision I made was to call Joe at (619) 917‑6971, he answered my call and responded with ACTION immediately.
Joe personally came with two other workers and they took care of business. Needless to say my pool works great and is not green any more.

Guys, I owe a place in Carmel Country Highlands with pool and spa. As a new owner, I knew nothing about taking care of my pool. Of course, I hired many people to do it but most of the people I got was bad at what they did, and cheated me for the cost. I finally hired Joseph Lerma, owner of Clearwater of Poway. Upon meeting him, I knew he was the right man to do the job. My pool and spa have been clean and fantastic for swimming. I need to clean the filters, maintenance on the spa, and every problem I had, Joseph was there to fix it. Moreover, he always charged me at a fair price, for numerous of times, he stopped by and fixed little things for me at no charges when he is in the area. I have never met a wonderful man like Joseph and this is from my own experiences. If you do have pool and need services, give him a call and let him do the work, I am very sure you will like it.
