COX shouldn’t charge customers to get account activity/billing statements. I go paperless for the environment… but it’s probably just a convenience(MARKETINGSCHEME) for you(COX) to save money and then make money by charging customers to retrieve the information. When I called to get a recap of payments made on my bill for the past six month you want to charge me $ 5 per month(total $ 30) to receive the statement/payment report — is just RIDICULOUS. This information is simply not available on my online account and it should be. AND I simply needed the information to split the cost with my roommate. I can go online to print a report on my cell phone bill or any payments made to any service providers but COX wants to charge their loyal customers. Don’t forget cable is just a luxury, we don’t need you(COX), you need us(CUSTOMERS). I wouldn’t be surprised if I get billed for this comment or simply calling the«Customer Service» line. Yeah — more like«Customer Charge» line and it’s not«Cox Cable» it’s «Cost Cable». Nice job attempting to maximize revenue. I know times are tough. I will cancel my service with COX cable.
