CVS Pharmacy

Came here to look for a toy for my daughter. She hurt herself. Hubby and I wanted to cheer her up. Plus she was cranky after her nap in the car.
As we walk in, I see a lot of things disorganized. Place looks a little ghetto. I walked around with my daughter. She found a small toy. I saw a bunch of cool stuff.
I went to the makeup department and lots of lipstick tubes were opened. Gross! Who wants to purchase lipstick that has been opened and used?! WTF?
I think CVS is a good place to pick up drinks and snacks. They sometimes have single drinks on sale. I don’t frequent this part of the neighborhood often. If I’m in the area, I might stop by for snacks and drinks. This place is okay.
There plenty of parking in front.

Last time I went there was a week ago to pick up some meds at the drive thru. There was a car waiting when I got there. It took them ½ hour to dispatch the people infront and by that time another car was behind me. I go to the window and told them that i was picking up. Gave them my info and such and was told to wait. I waited for another 45 min. and finally this dumb blond mexican women appears and I ask her why was it taking so long. Then said I might as well pick up my wife meds. also. She tells me that next time to tell her in advance if i was picking up a second order in a rude voice. I tell her that she already is waisting half of my day. What difference does it make. Then she’s messing around with the computer, I could tell she didn’t know what she was doing by the stupid expressions on her stupid face. She crashed it! She said that I had to go inside. I could fell my head steaming up waiting to explode. I look in the mirror and the people behind me are still there waiting in line. I told her no, that i would b back later. I drove around to see if the people behind me where being taken care of, no. They also left. Poor dudes they waited longer than us for nothing. Later I come back and theres a big sign on the window stating that their computer was down. What a waist of time. These pharmacy techs suck. No professionalism. They send their worst to this place.

Great variety, Air conditioned (thank you Jesus), and fast service… woo hoo CVS!
BUT the pharmacy side suckssssssssss. It’s SUPER DUPER slow. Expect to be there at least a good 30 minutes for anything pharmacy related. Last time I went in to drop off a prescription and not only was the employee taking their sweet time talking and talking to the person in front of me she was helping, but she was also moving really slow. Then finally when I thought it was my turn, she goes and disappears in the back for a hood 5 minutes. Ughhh. But their prices on RX does beat other pharmacies so I guess I will suck it up –_​_​_​–

Slowest pharmacy on the planet. If you go to pick up a prescription make sure you give yourself enough time.
Their staff is beyond incompetent. They screw up on prescriptions every single time. It’s actually scary if you think about it. I only keep my prescriptions here because of the location

I gave this place two stars due to a sexist pharmacist willing to help ladies and not males. I don’t remember his name but he was about 5’10, Hispanic, normal built. That guy should be trained to treat everyone equally and not just chat with women.
Otherwise good service and good selection.

All I can say is SSSLLLOOOWWWW! they can not handle alot of people at this pharmacy and then if you have more than one RX it is worse!

After getting my passport photo taken by a very courteous and professional young woman, I went to the cashier to pay for it with a $ 2 off coupon from the website I had on my phone. The cashier refused to scan my phone, demanding that I needed the actual coupon printed to receive the discount. I pointed out to her that the coupon stated scan or ENTER the code. She refused to enter the code as well with more than enough attitude. I was less than impressed.
After working retail for 4 years, I know how annoying customers can be, but really… was entering in the 5 digit coupon code to make a patron happy too much to ask? Needless to say I will not be returning.

Never has money to dispense, and it just wastes paper with worthless receipts telling you so. Boo

i go here to buy some nasal decongestant and when i try paying to a clerk she told me that i had to go somewhere else because she was busy. PFSSS. they were also very out of stock of that brand i wanted to buy so i had to get the genetic cvs brand.

pros… this place is very empty, so if you are looking for anything a normal pharmacy would stock this place is great. it is a rather big place and the a/​c is just killer. it is great place to hang out if you don’t have a/​c in your house. just sit in the outdoor section on some of the folding chairs and then pick up your favorite magazine and then pay for some snacks and you have a very nice day outside of the stifling heat and humidity.
this place is actually a good place to get most of your basic foodstuffs, cards, magazines, little gifts, outdoor furniture, stuffed animals, toys, etc. well stocked, well lit and very cool inside. they even have a pharmacist there too.
cons…this place has the Jekyll and Hyde customer service. they will never go out of their way to help you. but if you ask them for help they are very helpful. i guess if you don’t have to do work it’s best not to go looking for stuff to do.
