The Inaugural D6 Night Market was such a huge success!!! We weren’t sure what this night market would bring or if it would be as concerning as the Convoy Night Market. I’m glad that the park was nice and open, although I think for next year, the booths would need to be more spread apart. It was so challenging going through the crowds and picnic tables. There were booths from everywhere, especially from LA. I was surprised how well attended it was. Most of the parking was at the high school across the street and also the neighboring streets so I didn’t feel as though parking was horrid. The opening ceremonies and performances were all great, but I think a lot of people were definitely there for the FOOD!!! There was a beer garden and I think within a couple hours they were already running out of beer. In fact, I think the vendors were running low on supply. For next year, everyone will be more prepared and well stocked. I really like how this event was a family friendly event and it was at night. It was cool, so bring a jacket if you decide to stay pass 6pm! There should be more night markets in San Diego!

I love food, all variety of food and can’t wait to try them all at the D6 Night Market. Better bring out the stretchy pants. The D6 Night Market is a FREE public event to kickoff summer in San Diego with excitement, entertainment, and food. There is a mix of traditional and exotic food and beverage stands, vendors and free entertainment. Definitely plan to arrive early to get a close parking spot.
