Wow!!! That’s the LEAST I can say about Monica.
I found deluxe beauty bar on Instagram! Just scrolling through hashtag San Diego when I immediately fell in love with Monica’s work. I made my appointment and she is just the sweetest gal! I’ve had lash extensions before but she is the only stylist who explained what she was doing and would constantly ask if I was doing ok.
This will be my second fill and I fall in love with them every time! She even has ways for you to save! Reviews, selfies, referrals and happy hours! Give her a shot! She really is the best and is worth every penny. Her prices are very reasonable for the work she does!
Definitely a keeper Monica!!! Thank you!

Monica is the best! I had my first experience with eyelash extensions, and she was incredibly knowledgable and patient. She walked me through the different types of lashes, and customized my classic set to fit what I wanted. She took her time and the whole experience was relaxing — it didn’t hurt at all! She was great to chat with throughout the process. I will be coming back for sure!

Quyen is AMAZING! This was my second time coming to see her, the first time I got a cut (which was fab). This time I got a cut and I also got some highlights to blend out my old color and give a more natural ombré look. She did a great job at blending in the highlights with my existing color, and she also toned it down because I wanted a more ashy and less coppery color. I was super happy with the results and will definitely be going back to see her. She’s super friendly, sweet and was very informative on how to take care of my hair and color. If you’re in need of a good stylist, go see Quyen!

Moni does amazing work! She customizes the lashes to your eye shape and asks exactly what you’re looking to achieve. I received at least 5 compliments a day on my eyelashes asking if they were natural on not. Also, the whole experience is relaxing and she is so sweet to talk to. Definitely recommend her to anyone who is interested.

I am new to the city of San Diego, I have just moved from the freezing state of Michigan. I am extremely lucky to have found my permanent eyelash technician so quickly. Monica fully exceeded my expectations. Not only are my eyelashes actually full (unlike those «fills» at other salons that make your eyelashes appear patchy) but Monica also informed me about the health of my lashes. Who would have known that for the last year, I’ve been getting too thick of a lash, causing extra and unnecessary weight to my natural lashes. She was able to direct me to the appropriate size but she also told me about better conditioning and cleansing habits. I am overly satisfied with her work. Thanks for my beautiful lashes!

Looking forward to my next visit at DeLuxe Beauty Bar. Simply tried Monica’s service because i won a free set as a raffle prize. However, I am obsessed! I have now officially added eyelash fills into my monthly beauty routine. My daily beauty routine is a very low maintenance approach and It is a life saver to not have to wear mascara everyday. The staff there is wonderful! They’re friendly, attentive, and very professional. My most recent check-​in was for highlights and a trim with Quin and it looks great — exactly what I was looking for (even though I didn’t bring a picture to show her what I wanted). I’ve been going to Quin for a few years now and she’s never disappointed. Unlike many of my past hairstyles, she truly listens to your requests and delivers. Her prices are competitive and very reasonable as well. I live about 15 miles away but definitely worth the drive to downtown (especially since they have a couple «non-​meter» spots directly in front of the salon — you’re lucky if you catch them).

Let me just start off with Saying Moni. Is AMAZING! I’ve been going to her for about 2 years (I believe) and I’ve never had any problems or complaints. Her work is great, clean, and extremely professional. Any questions I have she always answers and gives extra little advice on the side. Needless to say I go Nowhere else! If you’re new to San Diego or yet trying to give eyelash extensions a try… I Highly suggest booking with Moni. ASAP! She dose book pretty fast

Just the salon itself is fabulous — trendy & on par with the east village vibe, I just love coming in here for mimosas and sangria
Kandice has been my hair stylist for about a year now and I think the best review I can leave is this: she’s good enough that I flew her halfway across the country to be my hair stylist and makeup artist for my wedding!
If I can trust her to do up do’s and makeup on 8 girls on my wedding day, I think you get the picture.
She’s been cutting my hair for about the same amount of time and I’m always feelin fabulous when I leave.
Highly recommended — and don’t overlook her as a makeup artist, she’s amazing!

SUPER Happy! My new lashes look great! I wish we could have added more, but my lashes don’t allow for that, Monica was super knowledgeable and helpful explaining everything and we had a great conversation while she worked on them. Moni is AMAZING! Unlike some lash professionals around town, she tailored my lashes to fit the shape of my eye and my other features. The personalized mix of lash lengths and thicknesses left me looking fabulous without any eyeliner or mascara. Even after two weeks, I was still getting complimented on my lashes. The detail and quality of her work are well worth the cost.
Moni is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I’d recommend her not just on the quality of her work, but her personality too. Nothing worse than being stuck with a stranger hovering over you for two hours when things are uncomfortable and awkward. You won’t have to worry about that at all.

I got eyelash extensions by Monica M!!! My eyelashes are so amazing, light and so full!!! & I am very impressed and I can definitely tell a difference between her lash application and another lash artists application. I was surprised how well they came out and how long they lasted… Monica even took the time to identify my eye shape and place my lashes on my according to my eye shape!
Monica is AWESOME at lashes and I’d hurry to make your appointment with her for your eyelashes, make up and hair! She is an Amazing Artist, and her lashes last way longer than other artists that I’ve been to.
