This art gallery is really cool, it’s a renovated warehouse in Barrio Logan, or what is now being coined«East Village». I went to an art opening there a few nights ago and had a lot of fun. I seriously love going to art openings, there is nothing better than good art, free wine and meeting cool people. And there were tons of people, just bopping their heads to the dj spinning in the background. This art gallery used to be in La Jolla and they just recently moved to downtown and apparently they have a good number of friends and followers. The new location is great for an art gallery, the street is filled with warehouses and word on the street is that a few others might be going in the same direction soon. I envision Chelsea in New York with all the potential these warehouses offer and the development in the East Village. The warehouse is comprised of different studios, where artist do their thing and then show on the nights of the openings. The space has a very modern design inside, but is in no way overdone. You really have to check out this gallery based on the space alone. The art was awesome, but I definitely can’t afford most pieces, with some going up to 20 g. Sign up for their guest list at and maybe I’ll see you at their next art opening!
