Super nice people. Kale salad is good as are the smoothies. They have gluten-free bread too!

Interesting beverages. The half salad half sandwich combo with drink is pretty good. The thick bread used for the sandwiches is delicious and the sauce on the sandwiches is too. It’s like a buffalo spicy sauce or something. I like to add the unique additions to the drinks similar to boba called yoba. They are little pieces of chopped fruit, quinoa or chia that can be sipped through the straw. Expresso drink was also very good.

I bought a fruit cup. It was ok. The fruit was fresh. 4 stars! Then I asked for a fork and the cashier pointed to the other side of the counter. Which Took a little maneuvering to get to. She could have handed me the fork, it would have taken 1 second for her but she just looked at me and turned her back to me and pretended to be doing something. I wish I would have known she was going to give me attitude before I tipped her. Now I wish I could take the tip back!!!

The Kale Salad is awesome! I got it with asian teriyaki grilled tofu which was very good quality and delicious. The lavender lemonade is quite refreshing too(sweetened with cane sugar, with all natural ingredients). This place is a great place for healthy and delicious food. I don’t go to UCSD but was here for work. I noticed that they have another location on Rosecrans St. that I’m definitely going to check out. The service is great too!

So usually everyone here is super friendly and the drinks are great. Last Monday however, I went there excited to get my free drink after purchasing my 6th specialty drink. However the manager guy told me I couldn’t get my free drink tonight; that I’d have to redeem it on my next visit. If that’s the case, put that on the card. Don’t say the 7th drink is on us but that it’s like the 7th visit. I’m sure if I had this card and purchased 6 drinks at once and got all 6 stamps, I would’ve gotten the 7th drink. Anyways, he also went on about how they’re going to change the policy to 7 drinks then 8th will be free or smg and that they’re losing money from this and that they’re the only ones that do this etc. Whatever… all other places that have a rewards card thing like this such as Tea Station always give your free drink with your last stamp drink.

Dlush is AAAHHmazing! I love this place and it’s my go to every morning I need a coffee fix or a quick breakfast. They use fresh ingredients to make a combination of delicious flavors that you just have to try! They also have tons of unique drinks(:

Dlush is awesome! During my time as an undergraduate student at UCSD, I frequented Dlush a few times a week. I really appreciated that Dlush was one of the few places on campus that actually served real food; as in. fresh and clean eats, unlike the other fast food places on campus. I recommend ordering their combo, which comes with any salad, sandwich, and drink. It was a perfect serving while I studied for midterms because their coffee really kept me awake(thanks for helping me pass my midterms and finals, by the way. lol). Their grilled cheese is absolutely delicious and all their salads have a great, tasty variety too. I wish they served soup with their salads though! I’m a bit sad that I don’t frequent Dlush as much now that I graduated and live off campus, but I will return whenever I get the chance!

I like their service and their salad is amazing!!! Oh, don’t forget to try their breakfast stack!!! It’s my favorite. It’s not that oily and it’s pretty good choice for breakfast to boost the whole day~ their service is also very energetic, they’ll try to meet all of the requirement~

I initially rated this lower after my fave salad was discontinued, and was motivated to give it another try. I had the quinoa salad – which I devoured. The buttery cheese toast that comes with salads goes in the trash… and I personally wouldn’t get their sandwiches – they’re delicious but part of the reason why is their oh so yummy(and this, tragically, fattening) bread. But the salad I had I really loved and felt good about eating. At the end of the day, this place is what you want it to be! If you want to eat healthy you can, and if you don’t, they have plenty of enticing options for that too!

I don’t usually write Unilocal reviews, but when I do, it’s in support of Dlush. Seriously though, Geoffrey runs a great staff that love what they do and serve you high quality, delicious, nutritious, healthier alternative products that will make you come back multiple times a week. Coffee ice cubes in their iced coffees are just one way they show how much they CARE. Ask for what’s good if you’re new, and I guarantee they will steer you towards a drink or meal that will satisfy your craving, whether sweet or savory, without making you feel like you’ve cheated your diet.

These four stars are only for their sandwiches. I’ve had their breakfast sandwich and chicken pesto. Both toasts are toasted to the right amount of crisp and the butter added brings out the flavor. It’s on a little pricier side for sandwiches but I think it’s worth your money. I’ve tried a sip or two of their drinks from friends or their samples and never really liked it. It’ll be best sticking to tapex next door for drinks.

Drinks here are pretty nice. Coffee on the rocks comes nicely oriented with a white chocolate pretzel. Cookies and cream shake a little too rich. Staff are funny and friendly. A+

The drinks are REALLYREALLYSWEET. If you want a good chai latte, go to Art of Espresso. The one from Dlush is literally a sugar bomb. I can’t even finish my drink. +1 star for offering soy and almond milk. Edit: removed post about soba because that was about a purchase that I made over a year ago that I still remembered. But my statement about the sweetness of the chai still stands.

I like the idea of maybe eating healthier. I like getting salads with some meat skewer. The last lunch I did was a kale salad. The taste was just OK. I found a couple nuts, a few dried cranberries and a couple bits of fruit(mango?). Other than that… it was tons of rough eating kale. Well yup! Twas a kale salad alright. That Ralph’s kale salad was easier to take and tastier. On the positive side… I do love the beef skewer and the mango drink. Service is always cheerful and engaging. Their sandwiches would have been better choices for me as I do remember enjoying one of them. Next time, no kale for me.

Dlush.= memories of the original location(which is now closed) and the wonderful drinks I’d get while shopping at Fashion Valley 10 years ago with my best friend as this was her favorite spot~ the other location I’ve also been to is the one in Hollywood. TIP: If you have a sweet tooth, try the Caramel Kiss(caramel, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate morsels)… super sweet and great on a hot day! PROS: location, service, selection: wide selection of drinks and food options, loyalty rewards card towards the 7th item being free/discounted CONS: busy busy!.. but worth the wait :) Dlush still has the fun trendy vibe, which can cater to the college students, people that work in the nearby area, and those visiting. This place is conveniently located on the UCSD campus with nearby neighboring hospitals: UCSD medical center and Scripps La Jolla. Upon coming here I was greeted by Jeffery, the owner I believe. He was very charming, had high energy, and had positive vibes. I remember some of the other people who worked at Fashion Valley back in the day, and recognized them working here. During my visit today I noticed they had free samples of salads on the tables, most were already gone except for the cous cous salad. The line got pretty long which is testimonial to the success Dlush has! If you’re hungry they have stacked melts, open-faced melts, salads, and protein options. Come by and check out the menu, I’m sure there will be a smoothie, shake, iced or hot drink. coffees. teas. to tantalize your taste buds =P

I have stopped in to this location at the Price Center for a couple of drinks, since they have the most creative smoothie/coffee concoctions I’ve found thus far in the vicinity. The peanut butter protein shake is great, but my favorite thing is the iced coffee, or as they put it, coffee on the rocks. It was delicious! It comes with cream already mixed in, and they have a cute touch on top with a yogurt pretzel atop the lid(see: pic). The staff is friendly and efficient, too. My only complaint is that the price is a little steep to justify going daily(as I am wont to do on hot days). I don’t think Starbucks even charges nearly $ 4 for a medium iced coffee.

Review for drink only: I looked up what yoba meant and it said«your Boba» LOL as lame as that sounds I like both the fruity yoba(strawberries, mangoes and blueberries) and the Quinoa yoba(Quinoa, chia seeds and blueberries) in a lavender lemonade. Because of the fruit and Quinoa the drink is quite filling and it can serve as a meal or a quick snack as well. Downside is the cost, at lclose to 5 dollars its important to utilize Unilocal,Facebook likes, Instagram, whatever to cut down the cost of your drink(dlush posts frequent coupons/specials/whatever through their social media) Only gripe for the actual drink is that the ice is grinded down so that it also travels through the yoba straws, which I do not enjoy. But if you are an ice cruncher you’re probably good to go.
