Went back today for a carne asada burrito and I wasn’t disappointed! Best CAB I’ve had in years. He marinates and slices his own meats. The love comes through Super fresh, hot and delicious food. I had the rolled taco plate. Tacos cooked perfectly, beans and rice were both hot with that homemade taste. The salsa has great flavor but they don’t make green. I’ll be back

If you are visiting Otay Mesa and are staying in the vicinity and want to catch a bite, try this place for some authentic Mexican food. It may not be the best you have ever had, but it beats most of the other places which are mostly chain fast food joints. Take out is your best choice although it has a few booths.

I’m halfway through my burrito — Potato Egg and Cheese. It is delicious. It took longer for me to order it than it did for them to make it. They are super quick! Really friendly people and the salsa is delicious. They even taught me a little Spanish. What more can you ask for? I will definitely be back.

Hard to tell which was better — delicious creative food that mixed the familiar with new flavors or the attentiveness and knowledge of the staff. Our family will be talking about this wonderful dinner for a long time. We downloaded the menu so we can go back figure out all 6 courses. The icing on the cake was realizing when we realized just before we left that the Baylesses were eating just 2 tables away.

Most don’t like it. I do! I love their carnitas tacos and their chilaquiles! I say it’s worth a try. It’ll be hit or miss but it’s not bad

I got the fish tacos special. 7.50 with drink. Great price and pretty tasty. My friend got the carne asada fries. They were awesome and cheap. Overall great food and well priced.

Its good but theres just something missing on the meat. It was a little to dry for my taste but overall it was ok I’ll try to order some else’s maybe next time instead of the carne asada burrito

This is by far the best Mexican food near the 905! The carne is seasoned well and cooked to that delicious brown crisp that is the make or break for me when eating a burrito.

If you work on the border like I do then the hell with Taco Bell! Don Lucio’s is the way to go. They are conveniently located near the Otay Mesa Border crossing. I had to grab some quick grub for a potluck. I ordered some rolled tacos. The price was average of the usual taco shop in San Diego but the quality of food was great. Friendly service and delicious food. Just remember to bring some cash. They don’t take credit or debit cards. They do have an «rip-off» atm inside the shop but they charge some crazy service fee.
