Good selection, however my pumpkin I paid almost $ 20 for lasted less than a week. Boyfriends died too. Wanted to love this place because I’ve heard such great things, but I won’t be back. I’d rather just pay half the price and grab one from the grocery store.

Very small but has lots of different sizes of pumpkins and a area to paint pumpkins with good music playing. Me and my two girls had fun painting and seeing people come in with costumes on.

This is literally the best pumpkin patch around. The prices are perfect and the selection is perfect. They know how to sell pumpkins as well as accessories. The staff is extremely friendly and I will definitely come back every year to buy my pumpkins here as well as my Christmas trees. Happy to support a local business that knows how to treat their customers.

Walking down the dark streets of Pacific Beach, I see a man walking next to me, afraid he’s another drunk creeper. My friends decide to go to PB Pumpkin Patch and I obliged, hoping to find a safe haven. Then I find out he was the owner of the place! And he’s incredibly nice! The employees as well. They went out of their way to take pictures for us and even gave us glow in the dark spider rings to go with our purchases. 5 stars for the friendly service! Before entering the pumpkin patch, I expected nothing more than piles of pumpkins. However, their register stand is loaded with decorations and there’s a witch or skeleton at every corner! The pumpkins came in every size! Decently priced as well! I’ll definitely be back when it comes closer to Halloween to buy more pumpkins. I believe they sell Christmas trees near Christmas as well!

My business calls Doug every year to have our holiday tree delivered. We’ve developed quite a brand loyalty. He brings us a fireproofed 9′ tree any day we need it and hasn’t increased his prices in years. Visit Doug for your Halloween Pumpkin and Christmas tree needs– you won’t be disappointed!!!

I’m been racking my brains(and Google) trying to find the real name of this place… I’ll have to post an update after I figure it out. Every October and December the same family-run business takes over the corner parking lot at Garnet & Bayard in Pacific Beach. In October, they of course sell pumpkins, and in December they sell kittens. Wait, no, I mean Christmas trees. This is not the biggest pumpkin patch, but they actually have a really good selection of shapely gourds with character, in all sizes and price ranges. Not to knock Nates Butt Farm, because I grew up going there(and once got bit by a horse there thanks a LOT), but it has turned into a bit of a bonkers carnival, which is fine for the wee ones. But on a recent visit, I must say, I was really disappointed by the punkins. No character whatsoever. All of them were a pale shade of orange, all were the same shape, almost all of the stem was removed. I don’t like uniformity in my punkins, I want bumps and warts and personality. But back to the PB pumpkin patch! The people who run it are nothing short of delightful. Would you like a glow-in-the-dark spider ring with your purchase? Um, yes I would, thanks. Have your picture taken with some sort of goofy, scary creature setup while sitting on a hay bale! Would you also like to THEN receive a 15% off coupon for your future Christmas tree purchase? Yes, I think you do. Come back in December to beautiful trees, again in all shapes any sizes from stout little Charlie Brown guys to gigantic mothers that totally won’t fit in your one-bedroom apartment. Sip some cider, enjoy the holiday tunes, pet the doggy in the back. The prices are more than you’ll pay at Home Depot, yes, but not that much more, and the experience is way better. If you don’t have a charming little pumpkin patch/Christmas tree farm in your neighborhood, but you don’t want to go to Valley Center to fight the crowds on the Farm, I recommend watching the sunset off of Crystal Pier, then heading over to this happy little corner of holiday cheer. Edit:This place is called Doug & Bruce’s Christmas Tree Country!
