We chose to rent a truck with EX haul after researching different options. Ultimately, the day rate and lower mileage fees made it seem like they were the best option. We arrive. Nick at the front desk is all smiles. Everything seems fine until moving day. First, the piano dolly breaks immediately — With my piano on it! Were it not for the quick action of our moving team, it would have tipped over. Flash forward that night. We fill the tank of gas at a local station and drop off. Imagine our surprise when the bill comes and they charge us for gas! I’m thinking what scam are they playing. Good think my husband took a picture of the dash to prove that we left the truck with a full tank. What’s more, there was a fee of $ 30 not mentioned to us. Sure, it as written in fine print, but during Nick’s super smily explanation of the insurance waiver, he didn’t point that out. When we called the next day to ask for explanations for the charges which were close to $ 200(for a truck that rents for &70 per day!) we got attitude. Gone was the smile, replaced with«we don’t give a damn» customer service. We received a small adjustment for the rusted out dolly only after making a serious fuss. Won’t EVER recommend them to anyone unless we wish that consumer to have a stressful move. NOT!

I just tried this place out for truck rental for the first time, and overall, I’m pretty pleased. Their rates are a big high compared to some places(although not as high as Ryder), but you get a pretty good value. They are very flexible in terms of after-hour returns(meaning if you are a bit late bringing it back that day, they are pretty easy-going about it). Their trucks aren’t the newest, but they are pristine both inside and out. I was blown away… the truck I had was a 2005 with about 97k miles on it, and the inside was spotless. Also, most of their trucks are cabover-style(mostly Mitsubishi Fuso, some Mack) which some people may not care for, but the 24′ Mitsubishi Fuso FM260 I had was very smooth-riding and had reasonable power. The people that work there are very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a great experience, but you do pay a bit more for it.
