Close to home, stopped for a burrito. 2 cars ahead of me at the drive-thru, yet I waited 15 minutes. Drove home, 2 blocks away. My carne asada burrito was cold. Not lukewarm, but cold. Inedibly cold. A complete waste of $ 9.00, which, by the way, makes this ice cold inedible burrito the most expensive one I’ve had from a drive-in Mexican restaurant in the 30 years I’ve lived in San Diego. Avoid this MXN. Wish I could give it zero stars.

Food is pretty good. Salsas are the best!!! The tomatillo one is my personal favorite has a smokey taste to it. And their Thursdays specials rock!

This chain used to be Santana’s Mexican Food chain, same female owner but had to change their name due to a divorce from her husband. Food is consistently very good for quick Mexican food, beats the standard chain Mexican fast food restaurants. Nice that there’s vegetarian options too. Good pollo asada burritos &2+2 burrito is a nice breakfast option. Currently offer daily specials(M-F)

This place was great when it was Rita’s briefly and now that it’s ‘Eat Mexican Food’ it’s just another random taco shop. The food was just decent; wouldn’t come back.

This taco shop has changed from ownership multiple times and it’s still has shitty customer service. I was refused service because I asked them to cook the shrimp right but they made it like last time and just threw it on the grill for a couple seconds. They are very lazy and have no education. They are rude and lousy. If you don’t like your job then fucking quit.

The food is pretty cheap and comes out quickly. Definitely recommend the carne asada burrito with the gauc/tomatillo salsa. There is a drive-thru window and restaurant seating inside and out. The best part is they take credit card!
