Well I gotta write something about this place since it’s in my ‘hood. I actually don’t come here that often despite it being so close to my house. My mom use to like coming here ‘cu it was closest spot. I stop by every so often ‘cu my wife has a sweet tooth. I think it’s okay. But nothing that great pretty average I would say.

I really like this bakery. I go almost every day and buy their heart shaped cookies.
EXCEPT when a lady in her 30’s is there.
She over charges me every time I go there. I have confronted her 2 times but only seems to concave when the owners are there. But, this is the last straw!!! She has over charged me .15 cents per cookie and I have confronted her the 3rd TIME. And she would not budge and refuses to accept the fair price. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. I CAN FIND ANOTHER BAKERY WHO IS BBB APPROVED.

Best authentic panaderia in SD City Heights community her bread is nice and delicious I use to go to la buena in Logan but this is way better. They only take cash the owner is a nice humble lady she always greats you with a smile.

I went to Elidia’s today and they had a little sign up advertising cheese and jalapeño empenadas! I didn’t try one, but they sounded amazing. I opted for a cream filled croissant and two other pastries. Yum.

I love this little place! They have the best shortbread cookie and some open churro like baked treats which I have no clue what they are but they taste like all spice muffins. Anyway, I love supporting the little people trying to earn a living keeping traditions alive.

The best Mexican Bakery I’ve been to. They have this bread cut into slices with a cream frosting on top… so good. everything is fresh and delicious and super duper cheap. Back in the day it was a taco shop as well but no more.
