I just stopped in for a milkshake before class. They looked delicious and I was craving something sweet. The milkshake itself was really good, but I was really disappointed by the way it was made. The guy who made it had a great attitude. It seemed like he loved working for Five Guys BUT he made my milkshake using the same greasy gloves that he was using to make the fries and burgers. When I got my milkshake, the container was covered in the same seasoning they put on the fries. Every time I went to sip some, it smelled like fries. My hands now also smell like fries. Just kind of off putting. Especially for a $ 5 milkshake! Next time, I’m going to in n out.

We go to Five Guys fairly regularly, and while this one is better than some we’ve been to, it also has room for improvement. For starters, it is incredibly slow, even when the store isn’t very busy. Recently, I placed an order online for pick-up at the Liberty Station store. My order clearly stated to proceed directly to the Pick-Up counter in the back to pick up my order. I ordered online because, being a Sunday afternoon, I was likely to get stuck in crowds of people leaving church for the day and didn’t want to wait in a long line. So, as my order indicated, I went right to the pick-up counter, where I proceeded to be completely ignored by 3 members of the staff. I understand that the store was busy, but I said ‘excuse me’ rather loud, no less than 5 times to employees standing about 3 feet away from me. They never once turned around. Finally I caught an employee on her way out from the back and asked if they could help me. She seemed taken aback I would ask her to help me, as it clearly wasn’t her ‘station.‘ One of the employees told me(rather rudely), that I needed to go to the front and check-in so they would know to drop my fries in the fryer. Why? Why couldn’t I just tell the pick-up counter I was there? I told her that no, my order clearly said to proceed directly to the pick-up counter. Still, I went up front, where again, no one helped me. As I was just standing there I finally asked what I was supposed to be doing up front, and the cashiers said they didn’t know – that my order would be ready by pick-up. It was obviously a giant miscommunication, but there is absolutely no reason to continue to ignore a paying customer who is trying, out of convenience, to pick-up her order as instructed. The woman who finally got my order was incredibly rude. I told her she should not ignore customers, but she didn’t seem to care. Overall, it is what it is. I don’t really expect much, but what I do expect is at least some form of acknowledgement. And, perhaps understanding that a customer is just following directions provided to her when picking up an order.

The burger was great and the fries were the best I have had in a long time. Service was quick with no wait. The only caution would be the high price. For my family of seven the bill was $ 85. Not cheap for burgers.

3 star only bc there customer service wasn’t that great. I’ve been to other stores and they are awesome but it was quite strange with these employees. My bf asked for mayonnaise and she said«give me a sec» with some attitude. First time to the register we ordered fries and it took about over 8mins to get to us and it was not busy at all. Second time around we ordered shakes but that didn’t take long. Food is good as it is at other stores. There customer service needs some work though.

My food was yummy as normal so I’m giving four stars but the service was awful today. Super slow and our milkshakes weren’t ready until after our food was ready and normally they come out first! I will be back because I have a feeling they were just understaffed today.

I think there ingredients contain of 40% potato and 60% salt for the fries and burger is 60% meat 40% salt. Maybe these Five Guys are too many cooks in the kitchen thinking the other didn’t add salt and are adding without tasting. Lay off the dang salt please! Most salty food I’ve ever had in my life. Made it disgusting and unapplitizing. I threw away my fries after 3 of them and threw away my burger 2 bites in. Can I get my $ 14 back? Absolutely disgusting! In-N-Out for life! Besides check this out, drive down the street and hit up Slaters 50/50, same price for what you get at the salty five guys, and way better food!

I absolutely love five guys only reason it’s not five stars is because the prices went way up! Don’t expect to come here and pay under 10 dollars, but the service is fast, Cajun fries are !!! I am small so the little hamburger and little fries is usually more than enough. It’s too expensive to eat here all the time but it’s a nice treat every once in a while

It really is one of the greatest burgers in this city. Not only is the food great but the staff are really friendly and nice. The complementary peanuts are the final piece for the burger joint being perfect. Clean and nothing seems broken or outdated. You can order online too so you can simply pick up. I highly recommend this joint.

Yeah $ 14.02 for a bacon burger and regular fries. Sorry five guys you are not worth that price! Employee said rates went up LOL how about you remove the silly peanuts that no one wants and save some money and keep prices down. I will NOT be back!

I expected more. The burgers were really greasy and if I ate it with my eyes closed and you asked me where this burger was made I wouldn’t be able to diffirentiate from Carl’s Jr. Two stars only because you can build your own burger and they give you an excessive amount of fries. Other then that, nothing special here. 2 stars.

Great burgers. The taste is coupled with a hint of the peanut oil used in the cooking.

I ate there yesterday and I ordered the double cheese burger and small fries and regular drink. The service was fast and the employees were super friendly. I ate some peanuts while waiting for my order. I was given a bag with my order in it. I looked expecting to see a big burger but to my surprise it was small. I mean you spend $ 14.39 for a meal you should not leave hungry. The fries were great the burger was ok but not worth the price. I’ll stick to the habit grill.

You guys made our night!!! Jacob, Keifer, Benji and Wyatt were totally awesome! They did the usual good at what they were supposed to be doing thing. What topped it was their smiles, their holding doors open for my infant and I, their patience with us and their making my sons day. Granted we were there near closing and therefore had the time to do so but they really made our night. We went home smiling and will be happy to go back to see these guys!!!

I like the burgers and the options you can put on a burger here. I am personally a big fan of this location. It’s easy to get to and has plenty of parking. They aren’t that busy here which makes service great. Everyone here is friendly and helpful. The only thing I have against the place is that it is a bit pricy. But you do get free peanuts.

Loved this place! The food is really good, fries unbelievable. I came here with my family and although we were a big group(10 people) they were so accommodating and patient with all ten orders. The place is clean, staff is absolutely the best. I’ve never been to a fast food place and felt so welcomed. I will definitely go back, the service I received was amazing. The only recommendation I have for the business, maybe consider using plates and perhaps even trays. Sort of what In n Out has. With ten different food orders it got a little complicated trying to figure out what belonged to whom. Also all the food was presented in to go bags and wrapped in foil. From what I noticed, most of their customers dined there. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

One wonders how you can give a fast food restaurant like Five Guys Burgers and Fries a five star review? It all has to do with consistency. No matter where you are, no matter what state you are in, or where off the beaten path you may be, if you can find a Five Guys Burgers you know you will be met with excellent food and excellent customer service. Yes, it is a five-star restaurant to me.

This spot is spacious, clean(no peanut or shell scatterings on the tables or floor) and most importantly staff is friendly. The interior is reminiscent of a Rally’s Burgers(the walls are predominantly white and checkered w/red & white tiles). As soon as you walk in you will see a huge box of peanuts that you can eat(for free) while you wait for your order. The menu is basic, regular burgers here have two beef patties and the little burgers have one beef patty plus you have the options of placing your beef patty/patties in a bun, lettuce wrap or a bowl. I ordered a Little Bacon Cheeseburger w/raw jalapeños, grilled onions, pickles, lettuce, mayo & hot sauce wrapped in lettuce. The burger was good and I was so hungry I forgot to take a pic. I have to say that I love the add-ons, which(in addition to the above) incl. ketchup, mustard, raw onions, tomatoes, relish, grilled green bell peppers, grilled mushrooms, A-1 steak sauce & bbq sauce. No onion rings but they do have fries reg. season salted and Cajun. I got Cajun fries, which were good but I think I like the reg fries better. The other foodies in my group got Reg Bacon Cheeseburgers(took a pic of one before it was devoured). I like this location, the employees are super nice and the burgers look and taste good. Five Guys also has other food options like hot dogs, grilled cheese, BLT& veggie sandwiches for those that don’t eat ground beef. This is the perfect place for those that want a quick lunch served in a brown paper bag.

I love these guys. I order online from work(I work within walking distance to this location) and whenever I come in, they loudly welcome me by name and everyone stops to give a quick wave. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. They don’t make your fries until you go in to pick up the burger, so they’re always hot and delicious and fresh. Did I mention they’re delicious? Plus, they give you so much extra, you have an extra serving at the bottom of your bag. Mmmm. They are hands down the best burger I’ve ever eaten in the United States. I don’t eat here often but when I do it’s a delicious, filling, food-coma-inducing, tummy-slapping treat.

i ordered the little hamburger with sauteed mushrooms, lettuce, and tomatoes. And large cajun fries to share. I really enjoyed the burger it was very juicy and was not a «little» burger! I was surprised that half way eating my burger, my buns were falling apart! I couldn’t hold anything together! I really do love the fries though! I’m not a big fan of thick cut fries, but it works here! it’s crispy and delicious! And the large fries is enough for 4 people! This location also has the cool soda machines.

Without a doubt the best location of Five Guys in the SD area. Five Guys simply isn’t known for expansive seating areas, but this one has indoor and outdoor and always seems to have awesome music playing. Free peanuts work well pretty much anywhere, but especially here it’s good to have some protein to snack on while your protein gets cooked. Three stars for an A-OK location of Five Guys. If you’re already a fan, you’ll love it. If you don’t dig Five Guys in the first place, it probably won’t change your mind.
