Frank F. Evenson Sculpture Court

Another hidden gem in Balboa Park, the sculpture garden is a great place to meditate, read a book or do some sketching. When in SD I get my sketchbook with me and go there to again and again draw the sculptures and the garden where in the summer you can go for movie nights/​picnics. I like the area with water, is very peaceful and separate the area that is now more popular because the Panama 66 café/​craft beer place (which I think is a better addendum to what they had before).

Hidden sculpture garden, it has some of the figures/​ornaments on the buildings in Balboa Park along the El Prado, so you can view them close up.
