Giant New York Pizza #2

I’m sorry, but this place was awful. I got pizza, which honestly tasted and looked like they had (almost) warmed up a frozen pizza. My companion got a cheesesteak sandwich — the bread was stale and the salad was very unappetizing. I would not come here ever again, the ambience is lacking and the prices weren’t that good for what we got.

Order the managers special today. Over an hour to arrive. Pizza was kinda cold, very very thin on the cheese. Won’t be ordering again from there. They offer to give me another pizza at a later date but not necessary, didn’t like it anyways.

Good food, fast service.
The prices were reasonable and the food was fresh. Defintely recommend it for friends and family.

Took them an hour to get to my place, Pizza is some what good got here kinda cold however they did not give me cheese or peppers over all it was OK not like to buy again

I will never again order from here. At first I was excited they are the only place that delivers that offers Fettuccine Alfredo. It had chicken and mushrooms. I ordered a 14″ for my hubby. The food arrives and its nice an hot. Things were going well. Then we start eating it. The pasta was mushy, it had no seasoning or flavor they only gave me 1chili flake packet and 1 Parmesan cheese packet. There was a lot of pasta by the way. I was looking at the pizza and the dough looked a little suspect, so after my husband took a bite, I asked «How is it?» He said he didn’t like the cheese, so I took a bite and the cheese’s texture wasn’t quite right (I can’t put my finger on it). No Bueno. Also they added garlic bread and it has no remanents of garlic on there what so ever. Its just pizza dough and butter with possibly some salt and I think tiny shavings of oregano. Its bad people. Real Bad. It came with a salad, but I don’t know if I want to try it; I might pass it to one of my homeless clients. At least they’ll appreciate it.

This place is spectacular and the food is as well. The people R super nice and u wouldn’t believe how low priced their food are. U guys should definently try this place its amazing.

It’s a really good place. I been there a lot and I’ll go again and again. It’s not pricy and it’s worth every dollar u pay.

Pizza was good. Delivery was on time and pleasant. Although the wings tasted good, they looked like something a cartoon cat dug out of a dumpster. All in all, good for the price.

wow… this place is seriously delicious, their pizza is so perfectly made and its been my favorite pizza place for quite some time. and the service is so wonderful, the workers are nice so everyone should really try it!!! its truly something.

Review is only for the sandwich I ordered. I have been here in the pass and remember it being ok. The sandwich I ordered today was salty and did not taste good. Fries were hot but a little soggy. The salad tasted funny. Service was ok. I may eat here aain but stick just to the pizza. I would definitely skip combo #2.

I found a fly baked into the pizza under a pice of ham. I called to complain and the male I talked to said they don’t have fly there. After I said there is no way that can be true because it’s baked in the pizza he offered me a 16 in pizza to replace our 28inch. I told him I just wanted a refund. After more him saying more excuses over and over again he ended up saying he will call me back in 30mins because he is too busy to deal with me. I’ll pass on another fly pizza thankyou.

If I could give it zero stars I would.
Food was not what was described on grubhub.
Fries were cold sandwich had 2 very thin slices of meat, and a tiny piece is cheese.
The calzone was worse than pizza huts.
Never, ever order from here.

I ordered the managers special w/​wings. Pizza was cold, wings were awful. To top it off they raised the price $ 5 from $ 23.99 to $ 28.99 saying I needed the printed coupon. Customer service is non-​existent. Don’t believe me-​try it for yourself!

Very disappointing to say the least. Now, granted I ordered from this place on a Friday night and on Halloween, so I expected a wait. However, I was told it would be about an hour and it ended up being just over two hours before our food was delivered.
I ordered two 14″ pizzas (one with pepperoni and one with green peppers), 8 wings, breadsticks, and a 2 liter bottle of soda. The pizza wasn’t bad, but nothing that stood out as making me absolutely have to get their pizza again. The wings were supposed to be BBQ wings but were obviously some kind of Asian sauce. Breadsticks were sorrowfully pathetic. Pizza dough baked in the shape of a breadstick with no flavor at all. They gave you some dipping sauce with them and I quickly found out why. No flavor at all. And oddly enough, the one thing that should be the easiest part of my order they got wrong. I asked for a 2 liter bottle of diet Pepsi, which they said was what they had, but instead I got a bottle of regular Coke. Really? Now they either weren’t listening to me when I said diet Pepsi or they just don’t know what they have on hand at their restaurant.
Based on my experience, this place doesn’t live up to the «New York Pizza» name.

PAY CASH! They have two credit card readers and a fake story about how they just got a new credit card system. They had to swipe the card twice because the transaction didn’t go through the first time, yeah sure! As soon as I left the place my bank contacted me to tell me someone was trying to use my debit card to make big purchases at KMART and Game Stop in Chula Vista. They stole my credit card information and tried to spend $ 1,000 right after I bought my pizza. BEWARE!

The pizza was just «meh». It wasn’t awful and it wasn’t great. The customer service was pretty lack luster and the wings were flat out bad. Go somewhere else if you want an experience to match the price you’re paying.

They’ve been around since I was a kid. I hadn’t been in about 25 years when I went for a small party this summer. The pizza was better than I remembered it being and I’ve had it several times since then. The prices are good, the variety of toppings are excellent and honestly, I’d say that the quality is better than that of the national delivery chains. Even had the Gyro sandwich, and that was excellent, too.

My mom lives close by. After me and my husband go to the swap meet we stop by for a slice or the large is only 5.99. And that’s not bad and the pizza is pretty good. Its true the male worker is nicer then the female. They have a old tv, games and machines. There’s a small fruit & vegie and liquor store close by. Its kind of hidden if you don’t know area, but if you do and never been stop by good prices.

Why had I never came to eat Pizza from here before when I only live 2 blocks down?

I was with my mom and sister and I said «Hey lets go try that pizza!»
Apparently, out of the three of us, I was the only one that hadn’t tried it haha.
So we walk in. the room was SUPER HOT!!! woooo! good thing I always carry my handy dandy planner and I could fan myself =)
So the guy who helped us out, was EXTREMELY helpful and friendly…
We ordered the 14″ pizza… only $ 5.99! heck yeaaa! And we also got a 2 liter pepsi… I don’t know how much that was because I wasn’t the one that paid.
So the pizza had probably about 8 slices. pretty decent sizes.
And it WAS GOOOOOD :)
I will definitely be coming here again, BUT I did take off a star because of what my mom told me… she said, that the lady that works there (she thinks she’s the wife of the owner) has a stinky attitude and is ALWAYS RUDE!
she told me about how the last time she went, she was with her classmates and they all went for their 30 minute lunch break (my mom used to go to the beauty school next door to this location). They ordered a pizza and the lady was super rude. but they waited for it… waited… waited… then it had already been 30 minutes and they had to go back to class, and the pizza? no where. They asked the lady for their refund and she told them, and I quote «I’m busy. I don’t have time to be making a pizza for you guys.»
HA! if that was me that day, I would have gone OFF on her! but my mom is too nice…
so if you ever go, order through one of the guys. and don’t be surprised if a women working there brings out your pizza and just throws it on the table along with thrown plates (another instance my mom told me about)…
BOOOOOOOO for the idiot lady’s customer service. but YEYYYYY for pizza! =)
