I went here checking for sunglasses and Brian Almaraz really helped me out picking them out. Not only that, but he gave me a really great deal and discount. He’s a very friendly kind person to interact with and I highly recommend him when it comes to glasses.

We had Lasik surgeries at the Lasik department. My husband’s insurance covers the annual eye exams & $$ for a pair of glasses. Brian, the optician has taken extra care of us. He spent more than 30 minutes helping us with frame selections. He understand our optical needs & explained to us the latest lens available for my husband. Brian went out of his way to ensure us that we got the maximum discount. Our savings were tremendous. We truly appreciate his kindness & professionalism.

OMG they are awesome! Finding glasses was a lot harder than I thought. Apparently I have a very unique structure and finding glasses that look good was very difficult. Everyone tried to sale me glasses that didn’t fit my face saying they looked good and I honestly don’t like that– who’s does? It took me 5 visits to other optical shops till I found GLV and my experience was fantastic. The selection of glasses and the time they take to explain everything was just what I was looking for. They really care about the customer and not the sale. I love my new glasses and the HD affect! Thank you GLV!!!

It has been a year since I got my last Maui Jim sunglasses so I called to see if Brain Almaraz can possibly assist me with another order via phone since I am so far away and will not be able to get down there prior to the end of the year. Wow! Brian worked with me for a long time and narrowed down some glasses for me to look online to assist in making my long distance purchase. As always, he takes everything into account and made many suggestions. Our final outcome of 3 great Maui Jim’s at awesome prices was just fantastic! I received them and I absolutely love them!!! If you have a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses that you need to repair, this is the place to go.
I’ve tried a few stores to see if they can fix my sunglasses, but all places said they don’t have the parts and recommended me to send them back to Maui Jim for the repair.
Over here, instead of telling me to ship it back to Maui Jim, Brian (Optometrist) called Maui Jim and order the parts for me, then let me know when I can come back to fix it.
He fixed it the same day I dropped my sunglasses off and priced it very reasonable.
Now I know if I need to repair my sunglasses, where I should go.

I came here to fix my glasses that I got forever ago, I called to see how much it would be and they said free even though I did not even get them from here! They were really nice! The place has a nice setting/​environment

I am so glad I found global laser on groupon! I had an amazing experience picking out glasses. Brian was so knowledgable about all the different styles and shapes and lens material. Did you know that you’re supposed to buy glasses with a specific size for your face? Before meeting Brian, I didn’t. He helped me find the perfect pair of glasses and lens type. I never knew I’d been doing it all wrong all these years. I am so glad I finally found a professional optician that knows what he’s talking about.
And for the eye exam Dr. Bajpai was the only doctor to find the problem. I had been to two different ones and they both increased my prescription. But Dr. Bajpai found that the problem wasn’t with my vision changing but dryness affecting my vision. So I am back to my old/​right prescription and only use eye drops for dryness. I am so relieved Dr. Bajpai found a solution to my months-​long problem. And he was really easygoing and explained every detail of my problem.
So all in all I am really happy with the experience I had at Global Laser!

I recently had my appointment for new glasses and was lucky to come into contact with Brian afterwards. Not only did he work with me to get better than the best price possible, but he helped me narrow down a selection of frames when I was too fickle and indecisive to decide which ones I liked best.
He took time to sit with me and see which worked best (functionally and aesthetically) to pick the right frame. When it came time to select everything he helped me decide on what was best for me so that I wouldn’t have to continuously buy more glasses down the road.
Brian helped me get my brand new Gucci frames with Transition lenses and Varilux Progressive HD lenses which he described as giving me hidef vision. I am so glad I took his advice. Not only is my vision better than it ever has been, but I’m seeing things with so much clarity that I’m even differentiating colors I never even noticed before.

I hadn’t intended on purchasing new glasses through Global Laser but Brian won me over after graciously servicing (without any prompting on my part) the old pair of glasses already on my face.
When it came time to shop for the new pair, Brian’s keen eye and passion for detail enabled him to deftly pick out frames that perfectly complemented my facial structure and personal style. And according to the rave reviews, he does it for everyone else, too! Highly recommend.

I was actually about to leave after my exam but Brian helped me find the perfect frames! The lenses here are slightly more expensive then you’ll pay else where but it’s totally worth it for the quality! I never felt like he was pressuring me to get more expensive lenses at all! He was absolutely amazing! Go here for your glasses, you will be oh so glad you did!

I bought a groupon from this store, 59 for 300 worth value of eye exam and a pair of glasses. Stuff were professional and patient, totally worth the money. Brian was very helpful through my glasses picking, he really thinks for the customer, very friendly. It was a very pleasant experience in this shop.

Brian was incredibly helpful! I moved from San Diego to the East Coast and was in desperate need of a pair of contacts. He not only saved me the time and hassle of finding a new Doctor, but he is having a 6 month supply shipped to me within the few days. Brian also utilized my insurance to give me the best deal there was so I did not have to pay out of pocket. He went above and beyond to help me out!

I was having a rather bad day, when Brian sat me down and told me that my insurance wouldn’t cover my contact exam. Instead of disregarding my frustration, Brian worked with me to make sure I left happy. He helped find a way to get me some trial contacts, since I had ran out of mine and my Rx was expired. This place really works with you. The receptionist staff are super, super friendly. The whole environment is calm and very clean. I went back the following week for my contact lens exam. Dr. Ploof is very easy to talk to and it’s a plus that he’s nice to look at. It is an eye exam after all! I will be going back in the fall for my glasses exam.

I recently worked with Optician Brian Almaraz at Global Laser Optical and he was amazing! I have never met anyone in this field with such extensive knowledge and impeccable taste. Brian listens and supports you but also has the ability to judge the shape of your face and quickly determine what frame options may best suit you. For my daughter and I, it was a fantastic shopping experience. It was so much fun and not in the least bit intimidating.
We were so excited with the extensive election of frames and lenses that we decided to also purchase sunglasses. Again, Brian impressed us by bending over backwards to maximize our insurance and give us the best possible pricing. Brian takes customer service to a whole new level!
Though I believe my daughter and I both have good taste, I have always found it somewhat difficult to try on frames and be able to objectively judge which best suit me. I will never go anywhere else… Do yourself a favor and visit Brian.

Brian was very helpful and patient while I was picking up the frames for my glasses. He said they’ll be ready in 2 weeks but he called next week and the glasses were ready to pick up.
