I would hire Michael again for every landscaping need I could think of and also recommend him to every one of my friends.
I manage a Home Owners Association here in Mission Bay, we needed a few things done around the property, fixing the irrigation system, installing stepping stones for walkway and other landscaping odds and ends. Not only was Michael’s work outstanding but he is one of the best contractor’s I have worked with so far. Throughout his work he made sure to clean up at each stage, he was consistently on time, excellent communicator and was extremely professional. In order to hit our deadline he brought in extra help at no additional cost to us.
His personality deserves special recognition in addition to his work. Michael is a hard worker but he also possess a great attitude and is a joy to be around.

Michael is a dream to work with. I had a huge overhaul project on my entire property, front to back. Michael helped me shape the vision, gave input and was at my house every morning early as promised. Not only does he do outstanding work, but he is a great guy and communicated extremely well throughout the process. He also worked within my budget. I highly recommend GQ Landscapes for any project.

Last year we put in expensive landscaping I thought we could maintain. After many hours spent weeding I realized we needed help. The ground cover was a pour choice, an area by the front door needed to be redesigned, some plants were dying, trees needed trimming, and the palms needed care. The unsightly side yard was weed infested, and hedges in the back yard needed trimming.

I am giving Michael 5 stars because he has lived up to each of those reviews. Michael was responsive to my initial email, showed up on time, and performed all of the work we discussed. My neighbor was amazed at how quickly, efficiently, and neatly Michael replaced ground cover with plants, replaced dead plants, and improved the landscaping.
Now the yard looks like the $$$$ that we initially invested. Michael told me to be patient with the palms, but the other plants sprung back to life. He should have named his business GT Landscaping for Green Thumb.

Michael was so responsive and easy to work with for our patio clean up project. He responded within an hour of my initial inquiry and was here same day to assess the job. GQ Landscapes is a pleasure to work with. We hired Michael to perform some much needed clean-​up on our very overgrown yard. The work was done fast and on budget, with absolutely no debris left behind. He also did some extra trimming in our front yard, which was above and beyond. I’m very pleased to see that I no longer have to call in and complain about dead palm branches or random debris that was never taken care of.
