So, I had my left hand done in May and my right hand was operated on just last Thurs. Aug. 26. Like before, the procedure was a piece of cake! No general anesthesia, only an arm block. The whole thing lasted less than an hour. And, with no anesthesia, I walked out and enjoyed the rest of the day. Today is six days post op. I have a small dressing with an Ace bandage on top. I feel great and have most of my use back. However, I need to slow down on what I’m doing so I can heal. It’s hard without a pain reminder though. Again, I STRONGLY recommend Dr. Mack for any hand, arm, upper extremity orthopedic surgery! The office visits are still slow as molasses but if you go early in the AM, there usually still on track.
