We had Spencer Parkes come out and repair my Daughters phone due to dropping it in Rock star or ??? Spencer is very meticulous in opening, assessing, repairing and verification the repair is complete. My background is in Engineering so I have an understanding of repairs.
Yes, you could buy the Battery, Charging port, watch the videos. I thought of this after talking to Spencer and him giving me his preliinary assessment on the failure and the pricing. He was spot on in his pre-​assessment and costs, even before seeing the phone. But if you miss that one nugget that screws things up, it’s all for naught. Believe me, I thought of doing it. When you watch Spencer work, you’ll know what I mean. He actually showed the few trade secrets you could potentially screw up on, with the impact and has all the specific tools and experience to quickly take care of business.

I dropped my phone, chipped the glass and minor water damage. I was sickThe warranty was voided (water) but they could try to fix it for a third of what it would cost to replace. I agreed, and while I waited in the lobby they did their magic and my phone lasted until it was time to trade up. I was sad, but learned a valuable lesson, and paid the price to stay connected.

Badly cracked my iPhone 5 and couldn’t afford to buy a new one. Decided to go with iCracked after a reference from a friend and couldn’t be more stoked to have my baby back in action! Hopefully I won’t break my phone again, but at lease I’m not worried about finding a place to fix it ever again
