Love this place! So warm and inviting. Great military support for the community and, Oh yeah, AMAZING coffee and food!!!

This place is hands down one of the most peaceful coffee places I have had the pleasure of visiting. The staff has consistently friendly and attentive. More importantly, the have really quality coffee, a boasting a smooth flavor that is bold without overdoing it. As other people have pointed out, the real draw is the peaceful rear sitting area. The small space and lack of outlets make it prohibitive as a place to work, but I would be hard-pressed to think of a better spot to enjoy a book or catch up with a friend.

Helpful staff. AMAZING dirty chai(ie: «The Badass»). No kidding probably the best I’ve ever had. So rich, not watery at all. The espresso wasn’t burnt. Just the right amount of spicy /sweet in the chai mix. I’ll be back for this alone. I also like the vibe there. Really cool little back patio. The place is very open and airy. Hardly could even call it indoors at all. The whole thing feels like a Hawaiian patio.

These ladies(and gents) do a fabulous job and creating smooth tasting coffee! They have a great covered space behind the stand to sit and hang out. They also have an awesome variety of loaves, Acai, and other food items to enjoy with your coffee! Check this place out! They know what they are doing. This is coming from a girl who had a coffee stand on every corner when living in Seattle… They are at the front in comparison to other local competitors, in my opinion!

This place is magnificent. I was looking for a great place to find some coffee from where I am staying, and this one instantly caught my eye. I got an iced Badass Chai with soy milk, and their gluten-free pumpkin loaf… I think I may have to grab some more coffee before I leave. It was so delicious! This place simply has wonderful energy, it’s a wonderful location, and it has the best damned coffee I’ve had in a long time. Coming from San Francisco myself, I desperately wish this place existed back in the city! Hats off to you lovely baristas!(:

Tiny little coffee shop right off the corner. The employee behind the counter was very friendly. We ordered 2 cold brews. Nothing wow-ing, I’ve had better. But the customer service was so good — it was easy to overlook. It is dog friendly. Back patio which has stadium type seating and a few work benches. Front seating is a little noisier due to traffic. Not too shabby!

Divine, smooth iced latte to start the day. Cute walk-up coffee stand in a nice part of the city. A little pricey, but the quality was excellent! Service was appropriately coffee hipster chill + friendly. Recommended!

So unfortunately i didn’t get the opportunity to sit and hangout, but they made a killer Dirty Chai. 16 oz. $ 5. I gave it four stars not for the experience because it was a grab-and-go, baristas were great no complaints there. But my friend was less than satisfied with her hot coffee. To fall short on something so simple puts a question in my head. But I wouldnt hesitate to go back. Plus I love when coffee shops have a sense of humor… whip or no whip?

This is a cool little spot on park ave. I’ve always walked past it and never took the time to actually stop by and see what it was like. Got a good iced latte on a hot day and discovered there’s more to it than meets the eye. I only ran in and out because the heat was a little much and i was in a bit of a hurry but next time I might stop and take a better look at the menu and see what else this place has to offer.

Great cold brew even if it’s on the expensive side; it will definitely wake you up! The gluten free loaves are delicious as well, I recommend carrot or chocolate zucchini. The only down side is that I don’t really ever get good customer service from the girls, they never are very peppy. At least fake it for the customer’s satisfaction… Dogs are more than welcome :)

I really like the quick serve-and-go atmosphere of this place because sometimes you just want a great coffee without feeling like you’re in France or Italy. I have to warn my fellow Unilocalers that the badass(dirty chai) was sweet to the point of ruining the drink. After tossing an entire cold brew from another place before this out on the street, this wasn’t welcome. I sort of assumed that it’d be good before driving away, and then definitely one of those«what just happened?» faces as I took the first sip. They need to sweeten that chai base way less or definitely don’t add the extra pumps of sugar if that’s what’s going in. –1 star for that I hope to be back here, but I definitely have to check in next time or get something that I know won’t have added sweeteners or flavors. –1 more star for the badass being a $ 6 drink. There’s no reason that drink should be $ 6. Places in San Francisco and New York don’t even charge that. That’s just taking advantage of people. The prices for the other drinks seemed fine.

I love these ladies! They make the best cold brew in town and the numerous flavors of moist breads are irresistible. Prices are good too and the service is the best thing of all. Stop off on your way to the zoo, the park or even just the vet!

Great small business coffee shop! I came here on Thursday morning around 8am. The girls there quickly greeted me and were super nice, warm and friendly. I got a Badass Chai(dirty chai) which was made perfectly(and cheaper than Starbucks, who doesn’t always get my dirty chai right). I also got a slice of chocolate zucchini bread! Super delicious and moist! They make all their own breads and they are gluten free as well! I will definitely be coming back to this place! I hope this small business gets the appreciation and love it deserves!

*Guess whose back. back again. Abbey’s back. tell a friend* 1st review of the year, I know. Been busy with school but I could not help but write a review for this darling little coffee place. Industrial Grind Coffee is an outdoor coffee shop that can has seating out in front as well as an awesome indoor-outdoor wooden fort looking area inside that makes me happy cause I feel like I am in a tree house that I’ve always wanted! Anyhow, the workers here are very kind, welcoming, and know their espresso! They roast their own beans and sell them for a fair price. I wont make this review looong so lets get to it. ESPRESSO: — organic and fair trade whole bean — very creamy texture — roasted properly and you can tell they take great care of it — cold brew goes down smoothly and has a savory after flavor that does not need cream or sugar to tone it down(rare to say) — mixed drinks(mocha/vanilla/chai) have a great balance, not too sweet and not too strong = harmony in my mooouth — they clean the portafilter before each new shot(some places don’t = yuck) — when making the espresso, the 6 times I have been here, the barista has had perfect timing on each shot. — never bitter tasting — never have I had a drink that contained an over-extracted or under-extracted espresso shot — they also have house made sugars and powders. whaaaaaat?! Yes. I know. Wow. it’s amazing = OVERALL awesome bean created by awesome baristas that know their stuff! ** My go-to drink** Iced vanilla latte 20oz with soy = LOVE OTHERITEMS: — organic teas(have yet to try) — house made gluten free breads(IG Bakery) which are yummy and great for a snack to go along with your coffee — bars and granola GOODTOKNOW: — they usually have samples of their breads — no bills over $ 20 accepted — all street parking, I have never had a problem finding parking BUT it can be difficult due to events or farmers markets on Sundays — It is a great place to relax, all ages! — Ask for a stamp card! If you’re like me. that free drink comes by quick(especially since I buy 3 drinks each time I visit lol) CONS: — none. OVERALL1 – 5 Appearance(store): 5 .love how unique it is Appearance(food): 5. they havent let me down yet! Service: 5. perfection Taste: 5. mmmmm… yummy Mouth feel: 5 Overall: 5 Support local roasters! xxx

Tried their cappuccino. Amazing! The beans used for espresso seem to be very flavorful. Very earthy! Had a nice calming seating area to work. Parking is easy to find too. Would definitely go again.

The first thing that comes to mind when you walk into the back area of the coffee shop is Southeast Asia! It looks sort of like you took a shortcut to some cool little outdoor spot in Cambodia or Thailand. The baristas here are serious about their coffee and are very kind to shoot you in the right direction if you aren’t too sure which coffee beans to go with! Pour overs are the top choice here. Try drinking it first without milk and sugar so you can taste the real flavors of the beans and the roasting. If it’s a hot day, grab yourself one of their cold brews! Do note they don’t have A/C here as the whole place is pretty much an outdoor patio. But if you can deal with the heat, you’ll be perfectly fine! Also, be sure your laptop is fully charged as their electrical outlets are limited here as well(unless you want to face the wall along the counters). Other than that, it’s fairly chill and quiet here and you can totally do some homework here in the«outdoor environment.» Enjoy!

I have not yet been to the actual coffeeshop, just to preface my review! A local natural foods store(Kiels) that I frequent recently started carrying their GF breads, and the owner was in the store giving out samples today of the banana bread and of the chocolate zucchini bread. Now, I HATE zucchini. Its my least favorite veggie. And after my nibble, I bought a whole loaf. I am obsessed. I ate two slices when I got back to the office, and shortly thereafter the whole loaf was gone because my coworkers couldn’t keep their grubby mitts off! I LOVED it. I can’t wait to stop in and try a cold brew!!!
