I am in love with the new location! Ms. Dee has a hand of miracles. I have been going thru some things and she is the one to go to to make them frowns turn into smiles… Thank you Ms. Dee… this short look is just what I needed…

I have been faithfully coming here for a couple of years now, and there’s still no one I trust more with my hair (: excellent service !

This was the first hair salon I went to when I moved to San Diego a year ago and it was the absolute worst experience that I’ve had getting my hair done. I called a couple days before to make an appointment for a wash and flat iron. I arrived about 10 minutes early for my appointment the day of and ended up having to wait THREE HOURS until I got my hair done because the stylist was installing a weave. It was very inconsiderate considering I had made an appointment. When I finally got around to actually having my hair done she insulted my hair the whole time; commenting on how the texture «wasn’t normal”(I have relaxed african american hair). She also tried to charge me more because the length of my hair was longer than she expected but in the end she charged me the normal rate and gave me a coupon for a free deep conditioning to make up for all the time that it took for her to do my hair I guess. I am so happy that I was able to find a different place to get my hair done and don’t have to go back to this awful establishment.

This place is really close to my house, which is a plus. They pay attention to the health of the hair which is also a huge plus. I am used to different prices, however compared to what is typical for San Diego, and what you are getting this place is great. I will make this my go to hair place, and refer anyone I know to them.
Just a tip they don’t take credit card.

The 15^th of March was the last time I’ll ever go to Innovations. I was there for 6 whole hours… never again. It seemed like the last few times I was here, the time grew longer and the quality grew short. My Friday was wasted because of some female who came an hour late. Apparently my money, I tip very well, and time are not that important. They say never say never…

It took me a long time to find a good hair dresser in San Diego. Someone finally recommended Innovations 2000 a few years ago and I have been going ever since. Dee doesn’t just style hair, she specializes in long term health and growth of hair to keep your hair healthy and will teach you which products to use and how to keep your hair looking good even after you leave the salon. I recommend to anyone who is wants a professional hair dresser that will get to know your personal hair needs and caters to your individual situation.

My family and I have gone to this hair salon for years. It is a small neighborhood salon. The service is excellent. Drucil does an excellent job with short haircuts, but she also does a great job with longer hair as well. We have never been disappointed with our haircuts during the years that we have gone there. The other Stylists in the salon also do a great job with their clients.
