Ryan was my stylist and I’ve never loved a haircut so much! He told me things about my hair I didn’t know and came up with his own techniques to give me exactly what I wanted (which was to thin my thick hair and give it layers) while making sure I got what was best for my hair and ease of styling later. He really took his time to listen to what I wanted, and helped explain to me different ways to achieve the look, and asked me for my preference.
I’m so happy with my haircut, it’s definitely one of the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend him!

Haircuts are a thing I dread, but it has to be done for the sake of my hair’s health. I have never left a salon with a satisfied haircut, ever. The knowledgable and talented Ryan gave me a haircut that left my hair looking ever so beauteous, and educated me about my hair as well. Ryan put an end to the dreadful feeling of having to get my haircuts, and I will return in the future.

My hair was a disaster when I came in. It was overly bleached and processed. Thank god for Margo and her magic. She corrected me back to my healthy black color. I’m so insanely grateful for this amazing transformation.

I’m happy and love my haircut! I haven’t had my hair cut in a long time. I was very nervous picking any salon because of getting sucked into bad reviews on Unilocal.I came to realize that there are going to be bad reviews with any establishment you go to. I picked this salon not based on reviews, but based on location to me and the fact that I’ve walked by it every weekend. I received great service from stylist Bobbi Maruca. She took her time and listened. I didn’t know what I wanted with my hair because it’s curly and I’ve had bad experiences with haircuts. Bobbi did an amazing job and after years of not getting my hair cut made me feel like I can start trusting someone with my hair again!

I was looking for a hair stylist so I decided to look on Unilocal and found this salon had the highest reviews and within, Erica had the most reviews that were all highly positive so I decided to give her a try. And I have no regrets! She was able to see me within hours and she did an amazing job at fixing my outgrown long Bob. I am so content with my hair again that I also booked another appt for color next week! Thank you, Erica!

Sydni Fox is my stylist and she is absolutely incredible. I’m normally very skeptical and picky with who cuts my hair, but she makes me feel so comfortable and does SUCH an amazing job! It feels good to know my hair is in good hands and i don’t ever have to worry about getting a bad haircut. Thank you, Sydni!

Erica did a great job. It was only 40 bucks since I opted out of the blow dry. Usually I am charged extra for having long hair but not here. Erica was funny, down to earth, fast and efficient.

even though I had to wait an extra 30 mins from my actual appointment I was well please with how nice everyone is plus I loved my haircut! they definitely know how to keep a conversation going so there is never a dull moment. I am very happy and satisfied with my hair and I will most definitely come here again.

I went in and was happy with the salon itself. Clean and cute. Hutton cut my hair. I am in the process of trying to grow my hair out from a short cut and was almost to a bob length and asked just to trim the neck area. She proceeded to cut so much of my hair that it is now shorter than it ever has been. Not only that but it is a bad cut itself. I am finding tiny pieces in with long and am having to try and style it in a way that you cant tell its uneven. I am furious and disappointed. For a simple trim she couldn’t seem to understand what I wanted. I am now back to square one with the growing out process and I will never go back especially to Hutton.

The salon and staff are both great. The salon smells clean and not like chemicals, the salon is clean, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Erika was my stylist and I had fun talking hair color and my inability to stabilize chemicals and ability to fry my hair by over processing. I was pleased she was excited to go hair offroading with me and try a haircut different than the norm. It was fun for us both, I think. I am sure going back to her for color and cut :).

I have a unique type of hair due to my mixed heritage and she know exactly what to do to make it look amazing! every time i get my hair done by her I walk out feeling like a million dollars! She has done color and cut and is super creative and knows how to help to make the right decision for my style.

Thank god for Erica Britt! She brought me and my hair to life again! After having really poor experiences with hair cuts in San Diego I literally just stopped cutting my hair for over a year. The last straw was the Russian lady from some hair place who told me «no short hair for boys, I no cut.» And this was at a supposedly nice salon! But I’m so happy I took a chance and went to j stila!
Their positive Unilocal reviews are correct! Finally someone who could cut my hair and make me look fresh and cool! Erica definitely knows what she’s doing. I would recommend her to anyone! I don’t color my hair though, this review is on cut and style.

Erica Britt is Amazing and my go-​to girl anytime I need a haircut, color, or keratin treatment. My hair is thick, long and frizzy (and difficult!) and she transforms it and always makes it look great. I went in for a cut and color a few weeks ago, showed her a picture of what I wanted and it came out exactly how I wanted it to.
Erica is truly talented and an expert with hair. I got so many compliments on my hair after seeing Erica, even from guys who never notice anything like hair. One said I looked like I was in a Carl’s Jr ad with my hair blowing in the wind, lol! I couldn’t be happier and I highly recommend Erica for all your hair needs! Also, they have a parking lot right next door so parking’s very easy.

The salon itself is beautiful and inviting. They offer great refreshments and a variety of services. They are very up to date on treatments and products.
Because the stylists are so talented, it can be a little difficult to get in. But Erica is worth it! I work my schedule around hers, that is how great she is! She has never pushed any products on me, but if you know anything about the business you should know that you are going to have products suggested to you at any good salon. It is a business and that is one way for stylists to earn a living.
I definitely recommend this salon to anyone that appreciates a great stylist! These girls are all great at what they do!

First of all my hair came out great, I’m happy with that aspect. I had a partial highlight and a cut.
I originally scheduled my appointment for 2 days out, I was happy to get in so soon, but on my way there I got a call that they needed to reschedule, they said they could get me in again in the next few days but unfortunately with my work schedule I had to wait until the following week which I was disappointed about.
When I finally did get in, I really liked my hair, they did a good job and were all very friendly. I had a Unilocal deal so the total price wasn’t so bad, but I wouldn’t go back with out a deal since they are pretty pricey.

I’ve been seeing Holly for quite some time and I wouldn’t have it any other way ! She’s honest and tells me if something will look good or not! She’s patient with me as I am a chatter box! Thank you Holly for making me Beautiful !!!

OMG where do I begin! Sydni Fox is responsible for making my hair fabulous! I get compliments ALL the time on how gorgeous my hair is. I came to her a few years ago with damaged frizzy short hair from bleaching it and heat damage. She has restored my hair to long silky tresses. I don’t trust anyone with my hair and it took a lot of searching to finally find her. One thing that makes her stand out from many stylists I’ve seen is that she REALLY wants your hair to be beautiful and healthy. She’s not just going to to do anything just for the money.
Hair color: I think this is her specialty lol ! She has colored my hair several times. She adds depth and dimension along with unique natural coloring that has yet to damage my hair. Ive done red, auburn, brown, high lights, low lights… etc each time she has blown me away!
Cuts: 10 ! she saved my hair from a screw up some lady did at super cuts years ago. My hair has body and has been growing at a rapid pace.
She’s also very versatile. She’s able to work with all types of textured hair. I am mixed with natural tight curls and she can give me a blow out like no other.
She’s sweet, professional, always puts her clients needs first, and the salon is gorgeous.
I can go on and on… Highly Recommend!

You know the place does good work when the first response from the BF is a giant kiss and smile. I like this place, it is cute and trendy. I have gone to Hutton a few times and she always delivers exactly what I request. I have always had color /​and or highlights.
I have become a big fan of the products that they use and I had never heard of the brand Kevin Murphy but I have come to love it. It makes my hair so soft and hydrated. I used to use Moroccan Oil shampoo and conditioner but prefer this brand. They do sell the moroccan oil, oil and hydrating mask so I can still get my supplies if needed.
The website gives you the opportunity to book your appointment with whomever you choose online, which is a nice feature. They also give you prices so there really is no sticker shock. The prices are on the high end, but the nice thing is you know what you will be paying before you walk in the door.
And as always, tip the stylist!!!

I called in the morning to see if I can get an immediate appointment. I worked with Crystal that afternoon. Got a haircut and blow dry and really liked how it turned out. I will definitely be coming back.

— Parking was easy, they have a parking structure beside the main buiding.
— They are located on the ground floor, across the street from Starbucks.
— You will get hair product pushed on you for ad on sales for sure so be prepared for the high pressure sales tactics.
