I had my baby shower cake made by Joyce and am so glad I did! It was the most beautiful cake I have ever seen. It was exquisite and the hit of the party. Everyone was amazed and is still talking about how gorgeous it was. I would definitely recommend Joyce to anyone and hope I have a party again so I can order another one of her beautiful cakes! It was delicious too!!!

I found Joyce on Unilocal and saw all the wonderful reviews. I am from NC, but I knew I would be visiting San Diego on my friend’s birthday. For a surprise, I ordered her cake from Joyce … Wow! Joyce was very accommodating, and the cake was even better than what I could have imagined!!! It was absolutely gorgeous, and so fresh!!! I highly recommend Joyce for any and all occasions! I wish she was located in NC!

Joyce to the rescue! Not only did Joyce bake me a cake with only a one day notice, she delivered it to the birthday venue nearby! The cake was decorated in Charger colors and bolt logo, it was perfect! And the Tiramisu flavors just melted in your mouth! It was deelish! Everything was perfect, my only complaint was that it was a bit pricey for a 12 inch round cake ($ 160+), even with the short notice and delivery fee, the cake alone would have costs more than I was anticipating. Would I get it again? Yes. But I will order it a few weeks ahead of time next time and also pick it up myself. :)

She’s unbelievable. My cake was PERFECT and yummy (as I type i’m eating leftovers and it’s just as good as it was yesterday). She made Shaun the Sheep come to life and created him and his cast of characters like she worked for the show. Seriously, it was perfect as in she should be on a TV show good. And did I mention the cake was really good?

I had been looking around for a last minute cake for my daughter and I came across JOYCE Unilocal and I send her a quick e-​mail the description of how I would want the cake she responded right away and said she would definitely be able to doit. I was very happy I was able to find someone to make her cake. My daughter was very happy when she saw her cake she loves MONSTER HIGH. Now I have gone to different places for birthdays cakes and usually I haven’t had great service now I always have said GREAT CUSTOMERS SERVICE always brings a customer back and brings more ! Thanks a lot JOYCE U MADE MY DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY VERY SPECIAL ! It was delicious.

They say your best friend is family. I have known him for almost two years and cannot think of a better person to be by my side. He is an MMA fighter and this year for his Birthday I couldn’t have thought of a better idea then a cake to celebrate his 47 – 3 win.
I have called, searched, drove around just to about 15 bakeries to receive a «No» or «We are booked». About to lose all hope on this idea, I had found Joyce Gourmet on Unilocal!Wow, there are many words I can say about her but she is a Life Saver. I had called about what cake I would like for her to design and she was openly and willingly to help. As we exchanged e-​mails I had sent her a picture and she had accepted. Filled with happiness it was one less thing I had to worry about this Surprise Birthday Party.
She quickly knew the idea I had in my head and represented in the cake. Not only did she give me tips, she also delivered as I was having trouble getting to her location. As we celebrated his Party the next day, all eyes were on the cake. No one has ever seen such work done on a cake. It was exactly how It looked on the picture. Not only did it look AMAZING it was the BEST tasting cake I had and 40 others had. I knew she had put her heart and soul into this and I cannot Thank her Enough!
I now know where to order all my cakes now! Can’t wait for the holidays.

My son is in the military an has been out of the country for his last 3 birthdays. He recently transferred to a base in DC.
My daughter and I were determined for him to have birthday cake this year. We are in Houston so we used Unilocal and found Joyce!
We explained the situation and she agreed to make the cake and hand deliver! She helped us find the right design and sent pictures of the progress. She delivered the most amazing cake and a homemade video from our family today. My son was so happy and he said it was the best cake he has ever tasted. We took a big chance since we didn’t know anything about this bakery but I am so happy we did! I would recommend this bakery without reservation!
