Julie rocks! My boyfriend and I wanted to get some artistic shots of us to hang in our new house, so we contacted Julie for a quote. Her prices were extremely reasonable and she seemed very friendly, so we decided to meet her in Balboa Park for a morning of what we were dreading would be filled with fake smiles and lame poses. We couldn’t have been more surprised! Julie was so much fun and made us feel extremely comfortable. It felt like it was just the two of us spending a day at the park and being ourselves. And the photos… I have never had such naturally lovely and genuine photos taken by a professional. I would certainly book with Julie again!

Julie is not only a very talented photographer but also a joy to do business with. She is sweet, warming, professional, welcoming, playful, and most of all fun! She made my boyfriend and I feel very comfortable while taking our Christmas pictures and they turned out great! There is nothing worse than feeling awkward while trying to take pictures– they always turn out terrible and look staged! Not these! They turned out better than we even hoped for. She encouraged us to be ourselves and have fun with our pictures which was easy to do while working with her because she clearly LOVED what she was doing. She had very fun and creative ideas and is exceptionally quick with her turn around on the photos. She kept us up-​to-​date with each step and even uploaded the pictures to Facebook so we could have some to share before getting the final DVD. She was accommodating while trying to work with our schedules and was even available and willing to answer questions 4 months later when I wanted to get a photo printed on to metal! Overall– I highly recommend Ferneau photography. You can’t go wrong with working with Julie for any of your photography needs! I’m even working with her now to set up a second photo shoot in the summer:) Thanks Julie for helping us share our love and joy with our friends and family back home during Christmas time!
