I have been training at Kenyon’s since 1995 and one of the best things I have ever done in life was make the decision to walk through the studio doors. The classes are fun and the training has its immediate rewards. What a workout! In the bigger picture, though, I am a better father, husband, business person, and citizen in general because I train at Kenyon’s.

Our child has been attending for a couple years. Its incredible to see how much her self-confidence has increased, not to mention her karate ability. All ages train together and therefore learning respect for all ages, genders, and levels of ability is an inherent result. The training is superb.

I never thought I would get involved with the martial arts, but after visiting Kenyon’s studio and giving it a shot about a year ago, I was hooked! I really appreciate the community feel of the studio and how Kenyon facilitates a supportive environment for anyone — women, men, or children. Classes are a good mix of a rigorous workout, mental stimulation from learning new things, comaraderie, and a sense of accomplishment.

I have trained at Kenyon’s Soo Bahk Do every time I’ve visited San Diego, and the experience has always been wonderful. Master Kenyon is a brilliant, inspiring, and warm teacher, and I have never felt anything short of being totally welcomed by him and his students.
