as far as liquor stores go, this place is the best in this neighborhood. both guys are super polite, know the prices on all their items and have the best prices ive found. i always get a «thank you» when leaving which is rare for most stores, let alone a liquor store.
as far as the bums outside, they do a good job of keeping their door/​area clear, being from new york city im used to the aggressive panhandlers so im not that bothered buy it. theyre doing some new freezer work so its looking like theyre going to have even more cold/​chilled items in the near future.

Ok. this really isn’t that great of a liquor store but for the pure nostalgia aspect I am giving it 5 stars… in reality its a 3 stars place.
So back in my younger days I used to frequent this neighborhood and this was the place to go if you were under 18 and wanted to buy cigarettes. They hardly checked ID’s and when they did sometimes an extra 5 would let it slide. And if you wanted liquor. there was never a shortage of some wino or another who was willing to buy you a 40oz for a bottle of Night Train or Cisco.
