This festival was a great way to spend a lovely Sunday in beautiful San Diego. The art was of very high quality and the artists were enthusiastically willing to explain their craft with no pressure to buy. It was more akin to an exhibit. I bought a wonderfully lively painting from Alfredo Zavala-​Gonzalez that needed to be in my home immediately.
The food was absolutely delicious and over the entire day we must have tried everything available from each vendor. The artistry and genius of Chad White of Común was very much appreciated. This was a food event to be savored.
The music and dancing that took place near the end of the day was a nice way to conclude the experience and the folklorico was well choreographed and exciting.
