I recently had lil’ miss shortcakes truck for my wedding and it was perfect! We surprised our guests with it and everyone loved it. The truck itself is so cute and pink! The macarons and cupcakes were so yummy, and they also did our three tiered wedding cake that was delicious! Holle was very patient with me throughout the entire process, I probably changed my mind over 10 times! I can’t thank you guys enough!

I called Lil’ Miss Short Cakes on Monday and asked them if they would like to do my Super Bowl party on February 7th. They sent me a list and menu via email and I was very pleased. I’m looking forward to seeing them at my party on February 7th. The prices were very reasonable. Thanks again

Lil’ Miss Short Cakes catered the dessert at our wedding and provided DELICIOUS cupcakes for all of our guests. Holle was incredibly easy to communicate with and showed up early to set up. The cupcake truck was such a hit with our guests! Everyone loved them. The whole process was so easy that we even had Holle create a small wedding cake for us to cut. Not only was it out of the world tasty but it was absolutely beautiful to look at. We wish we lived closer so that we could have her cupcakes all of the time!

Always impressed with this food truck! Love seeing then at events in San Diego so I can indulge in their brownies and oreo cupcakes. Everything they make is loaded with flavor and and tons of sweetness in every bite. Both owners always look so happy to serve their customers, and I’ve watched this food truck sell out in minutes so many times. A must try!

Wow! So, I just tried the caramel by the sea from here thanks to a very special and completely unexpected delivery from the shop yesterday. It was delicious! The frosting had bits of salt and caramel in it that I literally licked off and inside the cake itself is a gooey layer of even more caramel. This cupcake is literally dripping with caramel goodness. I am totally bummed that I was not at work to receive these cupcakes yesterday but I couldnt wait to try them today. I still have the lemon one to try later which Im looking forward to since lemon rarely does me wrong. I would like to thank the owner Holle D. for not only responding to my review but physically taking action. Wow! I mean I truly hope that you didnt feel like my review was directed towards you as far as the delivery goes because my husband knows that was all for him. Nonetheless I was stoked to hear that cupcakes were delivered for me for the very first time ever and that they were flavors I want to try and beautifully displayed. Hooray! I will definitely be trying out more cupcakes here. Thanks so much again. You made my day!

I recently had Lil Miss Short Cakes truck come to my wedding in March. I worked with Holle and she made the whole process super easy. She gave me helpful flavor suggestions and answered all of my crazy questions in a timely matter. The truck itself was so cute! It was by far my favorite part of my wedding. All my guests can not stop talking about it. I highly suggest booking them to add some extra fun to your event! Thanks again!

Super impressed with quality and customer service. I needed a cupcake tower for a 16th birthday on short notice. They went above and beyond. I gave some ideas and she ran with the theme and made some over the top, really cool looking cupcakes. They had a really short window of when the cupcakes had to be delivered to the school in between periods and they were right on time. They even added some extras, I didn’t ask for like the table cloth and decorations to match the theme of the cupcake tower. I can’t give them enough stars… professional, on time, met a crazy deadline, no detail compromised and the surprise for my niece and her classmates was a hit!

I stopped at this truck while at Star Wars Celebration today. I ordered an apple cobbler. It tasted good but something wasn’t right about it because about 30 minutes later I started throwing up. Everything else I ate today my husband also ate except this. Food poisoning was not how I wanted to end my Star Wars weekend.

We had Holle provide cupcakes, cake pops, and a cake for a bridal shower we were throwing. They were absolutely gorgeous. We had red velvet and peanut butter cup cupcakes, triple chocolate and red velvet cake pops, and a white cake. The details were perfect. We didn’t want to eat the cake because it looked so amazing! The cake pops were everyone’s favorite. So moist and filling! Thank you so much, Holle! We were SO pleased with everything!

The cupcakes are awesome. ALLOFTHEM. I have tried nearly all of their cupcakes and they beat out Sprinkles, and everyone else. They are so easy to work with if you want to host them for an event, and bring other delicious treats as well. I have booked them a couple of times for events at UC San Diego and the students LOVE them so very much. The prices are very reasonable and I would HIGHLY recommend them to the moon and back! Amy is the sweetest!!! And so are her cupcakes! :)

I booked this truck as one of four for a PTA event at my kids’ elementary school. They were the first truck to arrive, set up with no problems. The ladies are super sweet and easy to work with. Actually a pleasure to work with. Their cupcakes were TODIEFOR!!! They have this peanut butter one with Reese’s pieces, peanut butter cups, peanut butter frosting. Ummm… yeah. PHENOMENAL!!! My daughter got the sprinkles cupcake and it was the first time she didn’t scrape off the frosting! She actually ate the frosting and said she liked it! That never happens! Overall, they were absolutely fantastic and we will most definitely be contacting them for future events.

I ran into this truck at a festival in Murrieta. I was craving something sweet(as I always am) and had to take a look. There were quite a few options and they all sounded delicious. I wouldn’t allow myself to get carried away so I only got one, which was a chocolate coconut cupcake. It was delicious! It had toasted almonds and caramel. The girl working was all smiles and so nice! Will definitely stop when I see them again!

I am here to write about the most amazing cupcake I have had in awhile. Lil’ Miss Short Cakes was helping us out for a fundraising event so I sampled a «6 pack» of their cakes. While they were each very delicious the one that caught my eye was the«Dirty Pig». The bacon threw me off a little bit at first but there is so much of this cupcake to enjoy that everything just tasted so good together. The cupcake itself was a super dense and moist chocolate cake with some type of gooey chocolate center. The frosting was a vanilla-ee maple-ee combination of sorts with a chocolate drizzle topped with bacon pieces. It was delicious! Highly recommend. The other great thing about this truck is that it gets around. Although they are based in Temecula they easily supported two events down in SD. The two ladies that run this truck have a great thing going. Here is to many more«Dirty Pigs».

Lil Miss Short Cakes definitely earned their 5 stars. I enjoyed a variety of awesome cupcakes at Unleashed by Petco in Temecula during their Mega Adoption event. The Red Velvet was super moist and delicious, with a perfectly whipped frosting. Great price compared to other specialty cupcake bakeries, and the cupcakes are beautiful; however, being able to park her cute pink truck anywhere has to be the best part!

I happened to be walking in front of ProFlowers HQ this past week and noticed a pink food truck parked. Much to my amazement a blond women was handing out cupcakes from a tray. Better yet, they were free! Mother’s Day is the big day of the year for the«flowers in a box» company and they were giving out cupcakes to the staffers. Of course, I don’t work there but seeing they were giving them out… I had a chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake. The cupcake looked great, and had a cookie ball on top, and one baked in the middle. The cupcake was cooked perfectly as it wasn’t crumbly at all. The icing was smooth. The cake tasted a little like a boxed mix, but box cakes never comes out as nicely as this. I can’t say anything about the value of their cupcakes because they were giving them out for free. But 3 bucks is okay. — If you’re looking for something fun for an event I would check these guys out. They look great, and taste even better. — Nobody likes receiving flowers from a box. Give a cupcake instead.

The bright pink truck visited with us at Mini Golf For Good in Poway this past Sunday, and BOY am I glad they did. The cupcakes were phenomenal, and the personality behind the counter was bright and bubbly. What a delight to have them on-site. Thanks, Amy — you helped make it into a great day for us all.

Oh my GOSH!!! I consider myself a cupcake-a-holic. I have tried every single cupcakery from the La Jolla Shores to the hills of Rancho Cucomonga. Anytime I see a store, I HAVE to try. Imagine my surprise, at the Get Shamrocked festival, in Murrieta, to find a food truck with the name«lil miss shortcake». Never heard of ‘em. So, we stopped to peek. I should know that I never«peek» at a cupcake without giving in to the temptation to buy. So, these cupcakes were beautiful. Each had a special«edible» artistic flair on the top… bonus points in my book. So, as my husband and children peered in with me, we decided at that moment we just couldn’t share one cupcake… everyone needed their own… bc momma needed to taste those cupcakes.(Mommy tax… they need to learn somehow). So, we got peanut butter cup, vanilla, zebra, pink lemonade, chocolate, and the special«shamrock» cupcake. These things were to DIE for. My husband,(who isn’t much of a cupcake lover… I know, how do I stay with him?), was seriously dying over the frosting on the zebra. It was so fluffy and light. My kids were in love, and I, had the sampling of a lifetime. Every single one was scrumptious and so savory. Oh, and my kids were so very mad to lose 10% of their cupcake… which I thought was quite generous. in the end, I say that Lil Miss is a force to be reckoned with. Watch out Sprinkles!

Tonight I stopped by UC’s Wed’s food truck gathering and decided to splurge on a couple cupcakes after seeing the display in the window of Lil’ Miss Short Cakes. So here we go, short and sweet: I had the Pineapple Upside Down cupcake, along with the Lemon cupcake. Pricing: $ 3.00 each. Kinda steep for such a small treat. Packaging: like the other reviewer said, the plastic packaging they put the cakes in is nice for travel, but they perhaps need to line the plastic cup with parchment paper in order for people to retrieve their cakes without getting icing all over their hands(something that happened to me tonight). Taste: Delicious so far, I’ve only eaten the Pineapple, but no complaints. I would give the tip of flavoring the icing to go with the taste of the specific cake, however. Overall: 4 out of 5 stars due to the small size and difficulty extracting the cake from packaging.

The bright, pink dessert truck caught my eye as I walked through the Tasty Truck Tuesday gathering in Normal Heights. One of the ladies was handing out little containers and paperbags through the window as happy customers walked off with their treats. I admit that I am a harsh critic when it comes to value, but I’m an newbie judge on desserts, so I have a difficult time parting dollars for what few sweets I rarely indulge in. Paying several dollars for few cupcakes still blows my mind, but I’m supporting small business artisans and bringing home sugar-laced karma. I’m not the sweettooth in the family, but the Mini-me & Wifey are, so I thought some cupcakes would cheer up my gals. Undecided, I relied on suggestions since LMSC had quite a number of items available on display. The plastic carriers and cups with lids make transporting easy, but cleanly extracting them from their snug chambers could be a challenge for some folks wanting to avoid denting the beautiful icing for presentation. Menu items like Lemon Squeeze and Rootbeer Float sound pretty straightforward, but just ask ‘em to clarify some other names like Pink Zebra or Milk Mustache. I took home a half dozen little cupcakes to share. It’s a no-brainer for the kiddo because she loved them, icing and all. She even got a little possessive when I wanted a bigger bite. The cupcakes are light and moist that they are a great dessert to complete any of the other heavier food truck dishes. The icings are whipped up smooth and fluffy, with some elements of granulated sugar sprinkled in by design yet my icing wasn’t gritty at all. I enjoyed the variety of cakes and icings and that family receipe tasted great. I only hoped for this price that the cupcakes were a bit(no a lot, actually) larger and some of the flavors were a more pronounced for me, but then again my palate could still be a bit overwhelmed from a bold and spicy meal. Cheers to the sweet and lovely ladies at Lil’ Miss Short Cakes :)
