Kat is A-​mazing! She did the Flowers for my Wedding this past August. I came to her with a vision of what I wanted, showed her pictures of Flowers I liked, she knew every name of each flower and if they would be in bloom. I explained the style of our wedding and the look I was going for, and left the rest up to her. The flowers were so beautiful, and in perfect condition the day of my wedding. First of all Kat is an amazing person with a bright and loving personality which directly correlates to her work. Her charisma, artistic flare and creative style shine through her amazing arrangements, you can tell she puts a lot of love and hard work into every floral piece she touches.
Kat came up with multiple ways that our flowers could be arranged and provided a variety of flower choices for us to consider that would fit our style and color scheme. Her excitement to create the perfect piece for every aspect of our wedding made me feel that she genuinely cared about my likes and dislikes and had a passion for her work.
She worked with our budget, was extremely organized, always kept in touch, and was always three steps ahead.
My wedding day would not have been perfect if it was not for Kat and her amazing talent and dedicated hard work!

Lula Mae worked with me on a large order, based on a budget, and I couldn’t be happier. Her mother initially helped me out, but then she called to follow up and discuss various things with me regarding the flowers.
I GAVE HER COMPLETE ARTISTIC CONTROL. She’s the specialist, right? Well, I am SO GLAD I DID! Amazing!

Background: I live in Chicago and got married in San Diego. I have a friend out there that recommended a florist that she said was going to be awesome. Turns out that recommendation was not even remotely awesome. After trying to get in touch with the recommended florist multiple times to verify everything a couple weeks in advance and got NO response, I freaked out and looked for someone new.
Review: So after skimming through Unilocal I took a chance on Kat at Lula Mae Flowers because people seemed to love her. I completely know why!!! She emailed me back less than 3 hours after my email to her explaining the situation. My bouquet was gorgeous, my centerpieces were perfect and exactly what I was looking for and my husband’s boutonnière was exactly what we asked for. She was so sweet and so helpful (pretty sure I’ve only purchased flowers at Trader Joe’s and had no idea what anything was called or if what I found on my google searches were in season). She was able to look at the pictures I liked and find alternatives that were in season and kept my whole event under the budget I gave her. Kat is fantastic and I wish I lived in San Diego so I could support her business more frequently.

A great shop, with great service, amazing products, and very reasonably priced.
Kat (the owner) is super friendly and will create exactly what you’re looking for. I came in looking for something inexpensive and unique. She asked me a few questions, and next thing I know, she put together one of the coolest looking bouquets I’ve ever seen.
Don’t waste your time at other shops. Go see Kat — you’ll get what you want, you’ll get it fast, and you won’t pay an arm and a leg.

What an amazing experience! I needed some flowers delivered before the end of business today (it was noonish when I called) and was having a hard time. I got in touch with Kat who was kind and professional. And, she worked with my budget and time frame! What service!

I needed to send flowers for a friends birthday and make a good impression. Kat called me personally and talked to me about what I wanted to send and who they were going too. She did a great job and I scored big points. You cant beat that kind of service.
On a side note, I did not know Lilies can kill cats, so if your girl has a cat, no Lilies.

Kat created several beautiful arrangements for both my middle schools awards night as well as 8^th grade promotion. The flowers gave both a sense of formality needed for an important events as well as fun needed at middle school. Later she created a beautiful bouquet for out retirement party. Absolutely fantastic!

I was in the area walking with my daughter and decided to check out the new flower shop. Right when we walked in we were immediately greeted warmly by the owner Kat. She showed me all the different flowers and gave me lots of her brilliant and amazing ideas. I decided to let my 4 year old daughter walk around and pick out her own flowers and let Kat work her magic. The arrangement came out beautifully. It was simple yet classy and my daughter was kissing them on the way home.
The shop is very clean and easy on the eyes. Not crowded like other shops Ive been too. Love the decorations. The shop is easy to get to and LOTS of parking in front.
Very happy with our flowers and they are sittin’ pretty on my kitchen table. My house smells so good!

Stopped by Lula Mae in Little Italy to pick up some flowers for Mothers Day and left a happy man. Being that I would consider myself an «everyman» when it comes to flowers I wouldn’t say I’m an expert by any means but as someone who works in the customer service industry I was very impressed with Lula Mae Flowers. I went in on mothers day not really knowing what it was that I wanted and the owner Kat helped me find something perfect. Super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, with a great selection of fresh beautiful flowers, amazing arrangements, and welcoming décor. The wonderful mother in which I gave the flowers to was quite impressed, so much so she called up Kat to put some arrangments together for her work. Definitely will recommend Lula Mae to anyone who needs flowers for themselves or an event. This is why I love to support small business, personal touch, great customer service and amazing product.
