Marriott Springhill Suites Scripps Poway Parkway

My husband and I just stayed here for 2 nights. Our room was great, friendly staff, nice jacuzzi tub. The continental breakfast was nice, I appreciate that they have real creamer for your coffee, not just that powdered crap, eggs, sausage, as well as all the normal breakfast items. The room was decent size and a good price. My husband is 6’3 and always hates having to shower at hotels because most of the shower heads are to short for him, but he had no problems with this one.
The only issues we had were:
The bed, while it wasn’t uncomfortable when I was laying down, I woke up stiff (that may just be my body not being use to the mattress so I hesitate to even include that.)
I think there needs to be a safety handle to help you get in and out of the jacuzzi.
Our vent in for the shower didn’t work, but since it was just my husband and I, we just showered with the bathroom door open and it wasn’t an issue.
And, lastly and probably the most annoying this was, the first morning we were there, it sounded like the landscapers were cutting down a tree directly outside our room.
There is a nice Greek restaurant next to the hotel with a nice bar. I highly recommend the BP Mei Tei. There is also a gas station and fast food in the same parking lot.
Like I said, I think the good far outweighs the bad with this hotel. I would definitely recommend it and we will be back. :)

I wanted to ask about the age resticrtions for having a room and checking in because I am only 18, so I figured to call. When I called after hold forever they told me to call somewhere else then i called a née number only to be transferred 4 times with having to wait on hold every time and I couldn’t even get the room.
