Maxim’s Nails

Very satisfied with the mani-​pedi i got here. The owner took my scruffy-​looking hands and feet to beautiful, and my manicure lasted me much longer than I expected. After a week, my polish was still looking perfect. Definitely making this my nail place! Very affordable.

All the nail shops in NP were booked today and I really needed a full set! I walked in and the lady there took me right in her chair. Shes friendly & patient, prices are great! Place is small but its a good shop.

I use to love coming here until she put up a sign discriminating against children… sometimes she will service your kids and sometimes she won’t. I guess it depends on how may customers she has had for the day… also alot of wierd people just walk in from the street and hang out… I would rather pay a litte more money for a nice clean environment for me and all of my daughters to get our nails done…

This shop might look a little bit ordinary on the outside, but the quality of the work is stupendous! I was getting ready for my homecoming and I really needed to have a lot of work done. I was strolling down El Cajon Blvd and I decided to stop at Maxim’s Nails. There are only two workers so if they are busy, the downside is that you have to wait a little. The wait is worth it!
I first had my eyebrows done. The owner is the one that does the eyebrows and it was very efficient. She knows how to shape and the wax was quick and painless. Before I knew it, I had pretty damn attractive eyebrows.
The pedicure and manicure were AMAZING. They scrubbed my feet until they gleamed and got rid of excess skin. After they painted my toes, the lady even gave me free designs!
The acrilyics… will last you two whole weeks! Beautiful and intact the whole time.
I would reccommend this place to anyone that is looking for great nails and waxing place.

This place is kinda cool and here is why. I would never come here by how it looks on the outside. I started coming here because my mom told me about the awesome pedicures… CHEAP. Here’s the deal the owner is the only lady working there so if there is anyone there already you will have to wait until she is done. I do not recommend the manicures or acrylic of any kind. NO BUENO. Ok so now to the good stuff, the pedicure… she will scrub your feet until they gleam, will really get rid of your cuticles and if you have ingrown toenails she knows just how to get them out! Really friendly really cheap. Best Pedi in San Diego.
Downside: you have to go somewhere else for a Mani!!! CASH ONLY!
