Mesa College Child Development Center

This place is awesome! The teachers are wonderful and the place is always very clean and smells like Yummy Goodness!

I love this Child Development Center. My 11 yr old attended here from the time he turned 2yrs old until he began kindergarten. It was a lifesaver let me tell you. I was a single mother trying to go to school in order to make something better of myself for my child. He absolutely loved it here and thrived beautifully.
It has a wonderful staff that knows you by name and actually cares about your whole family. Now that I am married with 3 kids my middle child is now attending the headstart program here. It’s great because while my husband & I are both working we know that our son is receiving excellent care and learning a lot to boot!
The food is all prepared by the San Diego Unified School District and meets all the Food Pyramid Guidelines set forth for our children to grow up happy, healthy & strong. The playground is of ample size for the kids to run around and explore. The activity centers are each unique and tailored appropriately for their ages & stages. They have a Parent Participation Group (sort of like a PTA) for the parents to all get to know each other and help coordinate activities and lessons for the kids.
The fact that it is located on Mesa College’s campus is a great thing because then the staff is constantly learning something new. I can’t wait to go on a field trip with my little one and am excited for when my little girl will be old enough to attend the program here.
I highly recommend this place!
Please Note: If your child attends here and you’re a student you’ll have to take a Child Development Course and volunteer here 3hrs a week most likely. It’s completely worth it. You get to know the staff and other parents really well because of it.
