I agree that they have some interesting imported stuffs but I had several problems with they customer relations in the past. Once I bought a big pot and after taking it home notice a crack in it. Took it back and talked to a young man about it. All he said was ‘it came from the factory’ like that and did not offer to remedy the situation — exchange for a non-defective one or refund the purchase. Another time at the old location, went to dim sum with some freinds and after that decided to stop by the store to look around. The friend has a 6 yr old son and it was his birtday so the mom gave him some money to spend. The boy picked up something that looked like a toy and paid for it. As we were leaving the store, we noticed that it was not a toy at all because it was actually an cheap stainless steel pocket knife in a sleeve. This was totally inappropriate for a young boy and took it baxk to the counter and explained the situation. We were told that ALLSALESWEREFINAL and there is not refund. The best that can be done si to maybe exchange for something else. Needless to say, the boy did not find anything else so we were stuck with this useless piece of crap. What kind of cusomer relations is this? They realy need to get some lessons on the western standards of treating customers. They might appear nice to sell your things but try dealing with them when there are some problems or for asking for a refund. Giving 3 starts for products but 1 for cusomter service.

I really don’t understand why starting a new page for the old place, even though it has a different location now. The other review page had some pics on it. Anyway, the place is excellent. If you need some stuff for the Chinese New year(a year of Ram is around the corner, people, 19 of February) or just a good souvenir to give your friend for his or her birthday, house warming party, this is the place to go. You sure will be the one with one unusual and original gift! I have been living on the Chinese border for over 30 years, I see the same stuff at that store that I’ve seen in the markets and souvenir shops of Heihe and Suifenhe in the Northern China. Take a look at those amazing vases! They have them in the front, before the store entrance and in the back of the store. They even have some little figurines, netsuke-like, very cute! Having this store right near Zion market is a big plus!

Great place. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have really nice pottery. You can spend an hour in their with so many things to look at. The younger guy and lady have really good customer service and he knows everything about the Chinese pottery and where it came from.

I like going here and looking at their Chinese New Year Zodiac items. Unfortunately it seems like their prices have doubled(each item is around $ 20 now… even for a tiny keychain). Also, their customer service has drastically dropped. Instead of serving other customers in line the employee decided to just chat for about 10 – 15 minutes with the person in front of me. I probably won’t be coming back for a while due to their high prices and lack of customer service,

Always helpful and friendly. Have a great selection of bonsai pots, tea pots, incense, just to name a few. I love shopping at Mey Lee Imports.

Great little store full of hand crafted items from overseas. Store sits on east end of the Zion market complex facing Convoy street. I’ve been three times to purchase items from Sandalwood incense to flower vases. Awesome store with friendly owners always willing to help. I’m not sure of the name of the young guy that works there, but he’s awesome! I highly recommend this store for all your Asian/Oriental décor. Parking is plenty and they have a nice outdoor selection of items. It looks like they will be bringing in more items. The store is somewhat small so navigate the aisles with care because if you break it, you buy it, lol. If you plan on visiting the store I would recommend walking out with a little small gift for yourself or someone else. It’s a nice place to patron.

I really like this new location, because there is PLENTY of parking. No fighting for parking anymore. It is also right by Zion Market, so I can get my grocery shopping done at he same time. It is a little harder to find, because it is not inside the Zion market, it is actually outside on the EAST side of the building, facing Convoy Street, next to M.I. Tea and the Koren BBQ place. Pros: Lots of Asian imported merchandise. Good assortment of Feng Shui products. Easy parking. Knowledgeable staff about Feng Shui and Buddhist supplies. Cons: Hard to find, but once you find it it is pretty easy to get to. Smaller store, so the aisles are pretty narrow, be careful if you have a big bag. Limited hours, they are only opened from 10:30am — 5:00pm $ 10 minimum for credit card purchase. I was talking to the sales guy there and he said they will be offering more outdoor landscape merchandise, such as garden statues and plants in the future. They have a large outdoor space now, so it should be good. I was a customer at their old location and now I will continue to be in their new location. Glad they are still around after 30 years in the business, because it saves me a trip of having to drive all the way to L.A.
